They leveled it if I remember right because it was terribly unleveled and dangerous with holes. When I was going to school up there they had more games on turf at EGF HS then they did at the Ralph either due to ground conditions or just because it was a better field.
-
If I remember a early rendering had a soccer field over there. Which also seems wierd as you would think the new field at the HPC/Memorial site could host soccer as well as FB practice.

Previously I think he had a deal with Learfield for the call, but prior to Learfield coming in I think he may have just been a IHeart employee. I know he had a morning show on the Fan so did more than just games.
-
I guess outside of UND Sports I haven't listened to IHeart Stations much, but did listen more to Leighton and know they have alot of local talent and seemed to be more active in having events and little pop ups at town events than IHeart did. They also would've needed to get new talent over such as Tim Hennesey to cover, which is probably where their experience and production got ranked lower. Cunningham does okay for high school but IHeart has done well with UND Sport productions, just wish there were more coverage outside of games and Tim's morning show.

UND vs. Notre Dame - Albany Regional - NCAA regional semis

That boarding was more dangerous than the CFB earlier that Tech took. Expecially with him heading off ice and around open doors -

NCAA needs to quit worrying about logos on the ice to fix this problem. Most of the time the ice is only set up a few days to maybe a week with the NCAA logos and does not set up well. I'm not sure how the rink in Loveland ice typically is but I do know it caused some of the problems in Fargo. -
I get looking for a 2 vs 5. But if you have to use video, expecially for a extended time then a game shouldn't be determined. League can do that after. I think more of a review for a game should be unobserved by refs...but then when I had officiated youth in the past I probably under penalized alot
-
UMD was slashing
-
Not sure that should be a game misconduct....wow If it was Starman we would hear about how if you put it in slow motion everything is a game misconduct
-
I don't like the names on the bottom.
-
And now we have a review on a hit in Loveland.
-
I'm not sure what to think of the guy decked out in UND hockey apparel behind the bench in Loveland. Like I like seeing UND fans everywhere and know not everyone can travel as Colorado have alot of UND alumns. But it also looks like he bought tickets for the wrong regional to people watching.

Lindenwood moving up to play next year is another advantage they will have over Augustana. Think Augie may be missing a opportunity by waiting a extra year. There will be alot of players in the transfer portal and more available since the covid 5th year opened up more talent pool. They could've played out of the Premier Center for a year, or heck the Scheels Iceplex which is not a facility has more capacity then some college teams see at their home rinks. (Augie hasn't actually started building the rink, only moving buildings off the site). Lindenwood will most likely use a mix of their current roster and transfers, and possibly convince some commits to switch to LU. They have a advantage by having a team and operations already, now have to handle the move from ACHA D1 to NCAA D1.

Didn't even attempt a shot in that last 45 secs of the game. MSUM did a great job of getting in lanes, but you have to get the puck towards the net and create havoc. Don't have the time to be fancy, and it cost them.
-
I would have to look up the NCHC rule, but I am sure it is nearly the same as HS/USA rules. Where if the hand covers or goes over top of the puck, even if to swipe out, it is a penalty shot if in the crease. More often to see guys do it to shove under their goalie, but it doesn't matter if it is a split second it is supposed to be a PS.

You should find someone who has access to one of the original designs. You would be surprised how much nicer it was planned to be, bowl included. Not sure if it was budget cut or hurrying to be ready for the World Juniors to use as a extra space, or both. But the change was drastic. Also I have read somewhere in the past that the Alerus was built to be expanded on the ends, but adding the hotel and convention center took away that possibility on the north end for sure.
-
He probably thinks lowly of UND being he was the USF coach when they won at the Alerus
-
They held really well against the run. Some huge timely sacks, but I have no idea what iSU coach thought not trying to mix in more passes when that has been what has been burning us.
-
Focus on winning. If we get in fantastic! If not we are not expecting it. But we do know from past years that the MVFC carries alot of weight into the meetings. But boy 2 of those games should be for sure wins and atleast 1 of the others can easily be the worst coaching decision I have seen to give up the lead. But having Adam Stage would've been huge for the 3 FGs(1 blocked and 2 missed in final 5 min) against SIU and the crazy unfortunate fumble at MoST with meltdown to give up 11pt lead really hurt
-
Radio just said "Weah...Man is he a closer". He definately helped alot right here in this game
-
I was hoping he would learn to run more expecially after he did the same thing of throwing while scrambling with alot of green turf in the NDSU game. Just this time it wasn't intercepted

I think we lost to last place CC in the Ralph in 2016 Natty Championship run. Sometimes it doesn't matter how you win if you win consistently. We have seen 16 seeds upset 1 seeds and low seeds make the frozen four. If you can make the tournament you have a chance. Our conference is tough so coming in without a clean non conference schedule is hard but string wins together and see where that takes you, we are in October with a young team. Hard day for UND, but hockey is just starting. We want more from the team but glad we didn't get mopped today. We seemed to have felt the same in 2017 and 2018 with down years after lots of talent left. I want us to be consistently good and make the tournament for more then 15 straight years again, but this time win multiple Natty's. That be the dream
-
And makes these harder. BC we know we should've won atleast 3 of these games and we shot ourselves. Either way I do not like the status quo. We can compete with the MVFC but I do not like 1-4 in the year when some of our top talents are gone next season.

https://twitter.com/MOStateFootball/status/1454574541410160640?t=UuYjmvtgyb8ZItwxA0kMrg&s=19 This is Missouri States winning TD. The TE had no one close to him in coverage. Our backside pressure also pushed their QB to look that way at wide open TE

We only seem to run them either early in game or at dumb points when we are winning. Never when we are behind and a successful one could help.
