That was never said on this site. He very well could be straight laced but just one of his Sartell or other acquaintances was not. This is a message board, not a newspaper. Speculation is allowed and even encouraged.

Its simply what university presidents do: they attempt to control the narrative when it comes to public relations. I didn't say he was successful, but few stories have come out in the media since the day after the body was found. Local journalists generally revere a university president, so going against the wishes against Bresciani is like a good Catholic going against the wishes of a pope. The bisonville thought impugned to me that Bresiciani has impaired the investigation is blatantly false. I never said such a thing. Bison73 and BD are carrying the water for Bresciani on this board. Bresciani should be listened to with a strong does of cynicism: after he almost certainly ordered deleting his emails to avoid an embarrassing revelation. Not exactly a pillar of integrity.

Look in the mirror once! You are such a follower to Bresciani that you refuse to look at the seriousness of the case. A man is dead for God's sake, and you insist we all follow Bresciani desires of not talking instead of finding justice for Mr Bearson's killers. That's sick. The first step for Fargo may be to recognize that gang related drugs are a problem. The first step for an alcoholic or drug addict is to admit he has a problem. You go about denying everything, because its not what you wish it as.

And NDSCS is building a major campus next to NDSU, courtesy of the state. NDSCS is bringing its drug problems to the doorstep of NDSU, which may very well already have a gang that has staked it out. Answer me this: why is Bresciani insisting everybody stays calm and wants to keep down rumors? Bresciani knows what the real issue is, but he doesn't want it in the Minneapolis press which would hurt student recruiting big time (but it would probably help football recruiting). Keeping good press trumps finding a killer who may be part of a drug gang.
-
Rumor is that Sartell Minnesota is known for drug peddling. When Sadek was found, the rumors were that a drug related group was involved. Could Fargo-Moorhead have a bigger issue than what's commonly reported?

Its interesting how bisonville follows this thread so religiously. After how I explained how the REA Trust could bond a new stadium, the talk of bisonville was that there was not any existing entity that could finance a stadium bonding issue for them. My posts are the talk of bizon talkgating, because you and they don't want to talk about what UND is planning on public forums. Griz fans are tired of the FBS vs FCS debate. They don't want anyone from outside telling them what already has been decided. Idaho fans hate me too. Only a few Vandal fans get it that the Big Sky move is about footballl. I had to tell them that the Sun Belt move is only temporary, and proved it by showing the Sun Belt Idaho agreement, and even then they blew up at me. People don't like change, especially bizon fans. BTW, the Griz video boards will sell much more advertising, making an FBS move more feasible. But you're such a dumb ass that you already knew that.

According to the Washington Post, the Fort Berthold Reservation has become a drug and crime infected hellhole. http://www.washingtonpost.com/sf/national/2014/09/28/dark-side-of-the-boom/ This article says that the Fort Berthold reservation received $131 million in oil revenue last year. Of course, a lot of that goes to pay for new roads and schools, but why hasn't the reservation built any recreation or swimming centers in places like New Town, Parshall, Mandaree, White Shield, Twin Buttes? Oil towns like Watford City, Killdeer, Crosby, and Tioga seem capable to do that with less money. But instead, Fort Berthold's leadership spends money for yachts on Lake Sakakawea for gamblers. No wonder the reservation voted out Tex Hall for corruption. http://fuelfix.com/blog/2014/04/23/north-dakota-tribes-oil-output-rivals-us-states/ The following article for the Atlantic doesn't paint a pretty picture either, with losers flooding in from other states taking their bad habits with them, but at least it shows examples of behavior where some people come out of the Bakken as big winners if they have the moral fiber to do the right thing. http://www.theatlantic.com/features/archive/2014/09/searching-for-the-good-life-in-the-bakken-oil-fields/380677/

Will be one of the bigger mills in the country. That would have been front page news before UAVs and Bakken oil.

Montana, Mt St, and Weber St look to be the dredges of the Big Sky. But in a road game, anything can happen. We should not have lost to NDSU on paper, but we did probably because the crowd factor in reverse.

Their father Jack grew up in Crestline OH, before he started his coaching career. A number of coaches have their roots there, and most of them credit their abilities to coach on one HS coach. The power of one individual to impress and disciple people is powerful. It can last generations as it did in this case.

If the bizon started varsity hockey, would you be a turncoat?

Forgot that Port St is in the West Division. Thought it was a N-S alignment. The overall leader hosts the Big Sky tournament, correct? The team really needs someone on the right side to be a nearly full-time point contributor. Right now, we have five positions solidified (with Hart, Husfeldt, Dooley, Robinson, Pioske and Moser subbing) with a sixth spot up for grabs.

A Harbaugh, probably from Baltimore, is a shoe-in if they want it. When Ray Rice was cut, John Harbaugh was trotted out to the cameras to announced it. John wanted to release Rice in Feb, but the higher ups (the owner, GM, President) overruled him. I know the Harbaugh's relatives from Crestline OH and haven't ever met more moral or decent people ever. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/24716695/report-john-harbaugh-wanted-to-cut-ray-rice-in-february-was-overruled

Need a PF now. Is that too much to ask?

Is there a schedule somewhere on the interwebs? Does the club team play AHCA Div I?

Didn't know Tu-Uyen Tran moved to the Forum. Last I heard he was the night editor of the Herald or some thing. If the Oil Patch exceeds eastern ND in population, the football recruiting from the patch will be more like Texas-Oklahoma at skill positions with the east still OL and LBs. Pretty good combo for football recruiting.

Very close game. UND had 11 aces, and they never have many aces. Idaho will be hard to beat in Moscow. Away games in Pocatello, Greeley, Flagstaff, and probably Portland will be tough to win. Looks like Pioske bounced back had a good game. She, and Moser, Dooley, and Robinson all had 18 or so pts.

A chain that started in the oil patch. Is Chipotle expanding to GF? Their national expansion is hitting mid size cities now.
-
Agree with this totally. Improvement is shown on a week by week basis. After the SJSU and Mo St games, and based on last years Mont St game, without that work, this would have been a blowout. Never thought we would see progress so quickly.
-
Wrong. If the state hadn't thought it was a big deal, they wouldn't have changed the law so falsifying signatures became a felony, not a misdemeaner. Try again. You have a new AD now who doesn't need the protection and justification from bizon fans.

Montana been busy adding video boards, expanding their stadium, adding softball for Title IX concerns, building a new athlete study center, new locker rooms, and have a plan to grow their stadium to 30,000 soon. But I guess they have absolutely no ambition to go FBS, though they've borrowed the playbook from every team that moved to FBS except Idaho. http://missoulian.com/news/local/new-video-display-brings-stats-graphics-more-to-washington-grizzly/article_a674031c-45e0-11e4-a8a9-9b29f9b5c71e.html

Nothing wrong with a Princeton offense. But since it takes an unselfish team to pass a lot, it was doomed with the players mindsets. See above note from Irish.

When I said UND would get in the Big Sky years before they did, I was the butt of endless jokes on bisonville, as they knew with certainty that there is no way UND could get in the Sky. After all, NDSU couldn't get in so anybody thinking UND was a lock for the Sky was delusional in their view. The same situation repeats. NDSU backers somehow are certain that UND is the equivalent of Mayville St. It's a mental illness that afflicts the Herd. Good luck in the Big 12!!!

There were reports that nagging injuries have bothered her. She doesn't seem like the same hitter she was as a freshman. Maybe it would be best if she rested and healed.

Bison fans never ever include the REA in any comparison. Wonder why? For a venue that attracts over 400,000 people a year, its of great value to any athletic department. But bison fans always refer to it and hockey as a ball-and-chain that keeps UND down. Never met a bison fan that could actually process the fact that the REA is a major major plus for UND athletics, even to the Big Sky, even though there no hockey in the Big Sky.
