We could bequeath our women's hockey program to Minot St. If they go DI, they will have both men's and women's. Both are listed under the Beaver athletics site, which is rare for club teams.
-
Been saying that Minot St moved to DII only because they can take hockey DI from there. But the masses here disagree. Minot St can be DI just as much as Bemidji, N Mich, or LSSU. But it will take Big money.

Stony Brook took a big step back today, losing to Sacred Heart, 38-10 SBU is not looking so much as a quality loss now.

President Kennedy Message on Athletics
SiouxVolley replied to fightingsioux4life's topic in Other Sports
One would think Vikings Stadium would be more appropriate, but Target Field seems to want a game. NDSU might try an FCS opener again, that would be televised by ESPN, and we wouldn't be the their opponent. If the Twins are on a ten day road trip, an opening could work out. Target has hosted soccer, so it should have room. But to me, this goes to show that a bigger fancier stadium on campus, like the REA, is needed to energize the fan base and propel the team to a higher level.- 2,150 replies

President Kennedy Message on Athletics
SiouxVolley replied to fightingsioux4life's topic in Other Sports
St Peter is talking with the bizon about a game at Target Field, according to a McFeely article, which also says they would project a sell out. FBS conferences would take notes if a sell out happens. Thanks Mr St. Peter.- 2,150 replies

That is almost a Charlotte situation, where a black cop shoots a black thug and the black crowds were saying the thug had a book not a gun, which wasn't true. But white folks and white cops are to blame anyway, so they were beaten and shot. Lord have mercy on us.

The NAIA will officially responsor hockey starting with the 2017-18 season. U of Jamestown will be one of the schools. Life University outside Atlanta will be another. That explains why Jamestown switched conferences, as a couple schools in its new conference will have hockey too.

All he has to do is ask around among his fellow NSIC members. Or read an NCAA manual. If he hasn't done that he is plainly incompetent. Minot St finished their DII transition, so someone there can read manuals.
-
The NCAA allows a DII school to move up for a single sport that DII doesn't offer a championship for. Hedberg is lying, as he certainly knows that. Minot St could be a good addition to the WCHA, which is all DII except Bowling Green.

It's Montana State homecoming this weekend and their President Cruzado has a lot of support for any decision she makes. Would make sense that it would be announced for MSU's homecoming. Engstrom at Montana doesn't seem to have near the support. Cruzado was probably the ringleader to revive the WAC. Rather strange the Big Sky Commissioner Williams was here last week to celebrate the Potato Bowl. If she was really worried about losing UND, she would have meeting during weekdays, and not waste her time at the Potato Bowl. She wanted to know UND better. Think she'll be the WAC commissioners, and the current WAC commissioner Hurd will swap places with her for the Big Sky commish.

That doesn't matter to Kennedy. Has he imposed a travel allowance for ATHLETICS? When he does, let everyone know. What he and Schafer want is a bonafide comprehensive research oriented confernce. Neither the Big Sky nor the Slummit fit that academic requirement. Affiliating with NMSU, UTRGV, UMKC, Wichita St and maybe Denver in addition to the Montanas and Idaho get university presidents all horned up in a way that Sac St, a Weber St and S Utah never can.

Clan is an often used word for subtribal groupings. Canada doesn't have the historical racial strife that the USA has, so nothing wrong with that word in Canada. Simon Fraser is DII also, so Hedberg seems to be just making up excuses for not taking their club hockey team varsity.
-
Black people often talk that way among themselves, but if someone else of a different skin tone jokes in the same manner, all of the sudden it is a major racial hate event. Don't judge a person's heart by one action or word. That goes for Charlotte and Tulsa too now.

The XDSU's now have a legitimate route to full membership with the MVC when Wichita St and Mo St get FBS offers. Don't kid ourselves that the Slummit wouldn't lose more members even in our backyards. The MVC would be the new Slummit, as UNI would be the premiere program when Mo St and Wichita St leave. Milwaukee and Valpo and even UMKC would be looked at, but without Wichita St the MVC practically equals the Slummit. UND leadership knows that a Slummit future is a dead end for all non hockey sports, unlike the Herald. A new realigned WAC with a footprint in the plains and Northern Rockies is the way to go and eventually rebirth an FBS league.

The ideal candidate for The Slummit League needs to have both baseball and men's soccer, as a conference without football must sponsor two other men's team sports besides basketball. UND can become an ideal candidate if it starts up baseball again and starts men's soccer for the first time and drops football. Guess that is what the Slummit backers here want? Slummit men's soccer has seven members, as Eastern Illinois is an affiliate. Baseball only has six members. The ideal candidate for the Slummit is SIU-E, which has DI national championships in men's soccer, but is an affiliate of the MVC in that sport. But it seems to prefer the OVC as it's conference because it doesn't want travel to the Dakotas. The OVC is a bus league. Lindenwood might be another option, as it has umpteen sports including ones the Slummit is desperate for, but it is DII in everything but women's hockey. At last year's Frozen Four, Kennedy was hosted by Schafer at a game suite. Certainly Schafer shared UND's confidential strategic plans with Kennedy. Within days, Schafer announced that baseball and mens golf were being dropped. Hardly think that brilliant business minds like those two would have dropped baseball, which is vital for the Slummit if they had any intention of moving there. Dropping baseball was a way to send a message to the Slummit to drop dead.qq The men aren't morons as people here with no logical processing capability assume. Kennedy's announcement of more sports cuts will force us into the WAC, as that is what Schafer and Kennedy planned all along. With the WAC, an FBS upgrade is certain later on. Just waiting on the Montanas, Idaho, EWU, and Wichita St saying they are WAC bound.

Would love to give a stadium, but right now it would probably be made of legos. A partial scholarship endowment is probable, but maybe not for fb. But my main point was that I thought Sarepta's drug was a sure thing, but it happened much later than what I originally thought. Most of the talking heads on CNBC and elsewhere said SRPT had no chance but totally disagreed with them and stood my ground with money on the line. The same thing holds true for UND going to the WAC and then FBS. All the talking heads are so clueless, like the trolls and other message boards. It will happen, but FBS will happen much later than I originally thought. God is good, all the time.

People need to develop their spiritual side to see the relationship here ... The FDA should have approved it three years ago, but the intellectuals wouldnt allow it who demanded everything by the book, including deaths. There is sense in antisense.
-
This is off topic but relevant. For years, I've been pushing a stock called Sarepta (SRPT) to family and friends that has an anti-sense approach to treating genetic diseases at the RNA level. Today, their first drug for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy was approved, which allows DMD kids to actually form muscle tissue and avert a death sentence and maybe live like kids with Beckers MD, a milder form that allows them a much longer life span. The Duchenne kids would lose the ability to form any muscle tissue at age 8 and would die because their bodies would not breath and their heart couldn't hardly beat as no new Dystrophin muscle tissue would form. The kids on this new drug are still walking after five years, which was unheard of, but the FDA bureaucrats didn't want to approve it because their study didn't have kids on placebo that died as proof that the drug worked. Today, the kids won, which I am so thankful for. Those that believed me and perservered have been truly blessed, as SRPT is up 80% today, and up 500% for the year, in time for the Jubilee. This whole topic might seem anti-sensical to this forum, but I believe there is sense in anti-sense technology. IN this case, the Big Sky and WAC will realign and the WAC schools will have an FBS opportunity if they choose. This will happen soon, and Kennedy is getting the IAC to approve it. Tennis will be dropped and travel to the Southwest will no longer be conference travel.

So the St Cloud mall knifer used to live in Fargo. According to libtards, he must not have been treated too nicely in Fargo, so he took out his racial and religious frustrations on mall shoppers in St Cloud. Do I have that right?

The Bobcats seem to be doing better than predictions after losing Prukop and having to adjust to a new head coach. They steamrolled W Oregon, who had previously demolished Sac St. This better be the game when Santiago and Olivera and the O-line really shine, or could be a long season.
-
Weber St actually finished the non-conference season undefeated, but didn't seem to play anyone. NAU look to be the class of the BSC again, with PSU threatening again. Idaho played a tough non-conference schedule, but lost most of them NoCo and E Wash might be difficult away.
-
Not today. E Wash beat UNI too. E Ill beat Ill St. The MVFC so called dominance is dead, except for NDSU.
