ESPN and the ACC have announced a new ACC Network. Now the Big 12 is the only P5 conference without a cable network, excepting Texas's Longhorn Network. The Big 12 originally wanted Clemson and Florida St, but the ACC teams signing all Grant of Rights for all schools prevented that for a decade, and now the new ACC network will make the Big12 the slum lord among P5 conferences, excepting the Longhorns of course.

You are truly clueless when it comes to realignment. KU and KSU would want Emporia St, Pittsburg St, Washburn, and Ft Hays St in your mind too.
-
Most of the teams in the American are much more valuable than Wichita St. Why would ESPN pay for Wichita St when they have Kansas and Kansas St? Wichita St is just overlap to the B12. It would be like you and Bresciani pushing for Minot St in the Slummit. It blows up your idea that NDSU, which is much less than WSU, can not get a Big12 bid, which really peeves you to no end. Tulsa won't get a bid because of its overlap with Okie programs. SMU won't get a bid because it's in the same metro as TCU. All the other American AC schools will get looks other than Navy. Cincy is the prohibitive favorite for expansion team #1.

The Kansas flagship and land grant will never allow it as long as they are part of the Big 12. Even CUSA wouldn't take on a school that hasn't started football yet as it has too many members for the CFP payout. The American might be tempted, as WSU has strong basketball, but they would normally want a performing FBS team now.

Jamestown needs wealthier more suburban kids that can pay tuition. Mayville doesn't attract that demographic so much. Mayville started a men's varsity soccer team but later dropped it because of cost. Lax needs double the kids that hockey and soccer teams have, and Jamestown, being private needs enrollment to keep its funding. Mayville St much less so. Jamestown has much more incentive to start lax from a enrollment and business standpoint.

The WSU President tweeting a photo of the new Shockers helmets and uniform is a very bold thing to do for a school that does not yet have an announced team yet. The deign and production of that helmet and uniform cost more than a few cents. WSU, the school and football, has Koch money behind it and they won't be denied.
-
Still no word on where Wichita St is getting an invite. With the news cycle filled with political conventions and Olympic coverage the next few weeks, and announcement to kick off the college football season would make more sense.
-
Wonder if Jamestown wouldn't start lax too, as they did for ice hockey. The league they are switching to has some lax teams and it has growing interest in the west. Jamestown has good facilities for a NAIA school, but their indoor practice center doesn't appear to have turf.

Orangebloods.com says that the Longhorns will be announcing a switch to the B1G in three years. Texas was against expansion, so they must have relented so as to not leave the Big12 up a creek with no teams with big contract potential if UT, OU, and KU all take B1G offers. Sounds like maybe up to four teams will get picked, and two of those might just be football affiliates for a time. The AAC could be devastated, but BYU, Colo St and Air Force could get chosen.

Couldn't conceive of how Delany and Swarbrick could have signed a contract with each other. They are practically sworn enemies. There could have been words exchanged in private that one party didn't like. Notre Dame can't to back to Hockey East, as they have broken trust there.

Very well possible there will be a major announcement this week. But FBS play wouldn't start til 2020, as Idaho has dropped a couple of FBS games with Nevada for that time frame, but still hasn't cancelled FBS games after 2019. Looks like Idaho will be FCS for two seasons in '18 and '19. Wichita St and UTRGV could well be invited too, as they need an invite soon to get their FBS plans going. 2020 is not too soon, but 2018 is. That will give more time for Big Sky schools to prepare. Would be be nice to see Omaha and Denver to jump to the WAC for 2018. All the west coast WAC schools can go to the Big Sky then. This post will bring in an exorbitant number of trolls, but then again, trolls hate the idea a of UND doing something before them.

Dayton must be absolutely enraged by Gingrich's comment that Muslims should be deported if they want Sharia Law in America. That would effectively deport all the Somalians in MSP, but leave the Hmong, Nepalese, Bhutaneses, South Sudanese, etc. Apparently Dayton hasn't watched the news from France in the past couple of years. Apparently, Dayton doesn't mind death to gays and women adulterers if it's spoken by a Muslim.

What the hell is the deal with ASU hockey

Minot State could have an opening to be Bemidji's local partner. After all, their both Beavers. -
With the hiring of a new coach who seems destined to be a DI varsity coach, it's just a matter of time before Utah men's lax goes DI. They must be waiting for other PAC12 teams to announce.
-
So CBS wouldn't pay more if Ariz St was included? BGSU offers more markets than Mankato. CBS Sports and its money are a major decision maker which is too often ignored here. The NCHC will eventually split if more PAC12 teams start hockey. Denver and CC will support them and will leave if more western teams aren't offered. The only solution is Iowa St or Oklahoma and Texas, which all would be for.
-
Faison needs to make it a precondition for to get UND's support, something he failed to do with Miami and W Mich.
-
BGSU can offer home and home basketball games with UND and UNO, and maybe even a home and home fb series with UND. UND and UNO need bona-fide DI games for BB OOC. That would swing those votes to BGSU. Mankato has the Minnesota state schools votes and thats it.

There could be plenty of room in the WCHA and AHA for these teams: Simon Fraser Minot St Lindenwood Ill St Liberty Navy Delaware West Chester Post Rhode Island

It's not picked up by regional and national news outlets. With the Muslim immigration issue, it should be.

BTW, Portugal beat France 1-0 in OT to win the Euro 2016. But Portugal played almost 90 minutes without Ronaldo, who had a knee injury early on. Most observers gave Portugal a good chance with Ronaldo, and about zero without him. Portugal never won a game in normal time with this Euro win.

They are trying to get financing, which is no small task.

Have many black friends on Facebook, so now isn't the time for me to post some things. At my former work place, which was 40% black, so many of the black employees had faced black on black violence, including murder in their families. But most of the black people just detested the police, even if they were black cops, as oppressors and wouldn't work with the police to get justice. It's mainly historical memories that many blacks are conjuring up today. Racial prejudice exists today, but much of it is black people hating our societal system, which only causes more problems. Chicago has had almost more murders than serviceman have died in Iraq and Afghanistan since 2001, but Chicago is narily mentioned by the media and politicians. Pray for America.

Bought Barrick Gold ( ABX), Pan American Silver (PAAS), and First Majestic Silver (AG) last summer as was concerned about the upcoming Shemitah and Jubilee, and all of them have been four or five baggers. Now George Soros and other big names say to get into gold and silver as most governments have way too much debt so those stocks can double or more. Saw silver was up 5% today in early Asian trading. Mining companies go up three times as much when the base metal goes up. The Jubilee is real as far as may finances go. Might have to endow a UND athletic scholarship by giving stock, and name the scholarship after parents.

All your comments and Dayton's comments are part of the problem because you have already made judgements based on the media, not by a court of law. I agree that Philando should have been granted the same rights with regards to innocence to a armed robbery, but the cops still need to take precautions when stopping an armed man. When presented with a different side that the media has presented, you get angry at me. It's like the rule of law and presumption of innocence doesn't apply to Jeronimo because he shot and killed a black man. More cops are killed by black men than black men are killed by cops, but the media never mentions that. Why? Too many of the black community think whites are always out to get them. The media and Democrats always play the race card as you do here. I haved lived in and near a predominantly black community. When the OJ Simpson verdict was announced there was major celebration, bigger than anything Ive seen spontaneously, because a black man won, not because justice won. If one expressed sadness at the verdict, one was a labeled racist. Justice should be colorblind, but liberal democrats don't allow it.
