The Big Sky tournament will decide Jones fate, not NDSU.

ESPN is reporting that N Illinois will replace Minnesota in the next 48 hrs in the Holiday Bowl if the Gopher players don't end their walk out. The situation can be plenty bad for Minnesota, as they might have to start a team from scratch. Student discipline is not the same as legal proceedings, especially for scholarship athletes.

NDSU has a climate that anything gross or bad is due to UND. That permeate their behavior in school, as UND is the butt of of jokes, and is even an outhouse in NDSU's school song. At UND when I went, NDSU was rarely talked about, other than after a game. Two entirely different cultures. NDSU's culture always rips and worse on UND, because UND is like a demon straight from hell to them. To UND, NDSU is just a pest, not some supernatural creature with power.

There has been rumors that JMU, Delaware, Stony Brook and Albany want FBS. Delaware at least wants to bring it's program back to life. Chattanooga meantime doesn't have plans.

The current admin didn't do much to clean it up or even deliver apologies. This world isn't risk free, but we can reduce the risks. Making them zero would make life in the North impossible.

Those were gathering pipelines from well heads. The standards for intercontinental pipelines are much higher. How is the pipeline under Lake Oahe going to burst as it is 70 ft under in rocked and double contained. Even Archambeault has said the pipeline will be approved via Trump and he's not opposed to Reservations gaining economic considerations from natural resources, as that seems to be Obama's position. Standing Rock just put up a gigantic show that proved they are not open to business. Any corporations would be out of their mind to work with them now. That said, the gathering pipelines need to be improved and have more instrumentation.

The AAC doesn't want new FBS teams, so a WAC league that is FCS moving to FBS might still be on. When Wichita St is good in fb, the AAC may take them on then.

UMKC could be in the running too as well as Omaha and MilwaukeE for Wichita's spot. Any Slummit move would be ill advised now by Kennedy.

There has been recent rumblings that BYU is tired of FB indendence. Might BYU go to the AAC as fb only and Wichita St go in for Olympics? Wichita St would want to start fb as FCS but wouldn't be welcome in the MVFC. The WAC FCS conference would be the way Wichita goes FBS. The AAC doesnt want FCS move ups. MO St would leave the MVFC and maybe the MVC for the Sun Belt or WAC as soon as Wichita St leaves. The AAC might also want AFA or Colo St. If that happens, the MWC will.take UTEP, Rice, and UTSA or North Texas from CUSA.

Good point. The MVC is so political, they tend to replace schools with like ones. So Wichita replacement would more likely be Omaha or.Milwaukee, publics without fb. MO St is a bigger issue, as only the XDSU's and Murray St fit the bill. If Ilinois St really wanted hockey as well as other MVC schools, they could push for Omaha, Denver, and UND.

Fanrag has reported that Wichita St is the only non football team that could be added to the AAC for the 2018-19 season. That could set up a battle between NDSU and SDSU for the 10th MVC spot and "ruin" our Slummit ambitions. Maybe Mo St would move to the AAC at the same time.

Our RPI has gone up by beating NDSU, but their RPI has taken a beating. The Slummit is not that strong this year, other than IPFW beating Indiana. NDSU beat Ark St when they were rated 29th, so that's the major reason NDSU has a good RPI. Most of the Big Sky has atrocious ratings except EWU. UND is actually favored to win most conference games by RPI.

Couldn't agree more. Bubba seems to read kids so much better, as he has a knack for getting kids that are actually committed to hard work. Might hurt you to say this, but Lennon's last year's weren't so great either. The AD cut back on budgets and the XDSU'S really got the prime prospects. That has changed now.

Chicago St appears to be a big hangup for the WAC / Big Sky reorganization. Chicago St, which can't afford hot water for its dorms and had less than 100 freshman enrolled, is talking of starting a football team and joining the Pioneer League. The WAC Commissioner has said starting football is a priority for the WAC and this is just a political ploy for Chicago St to get some traction in the WAC. The WAC can't reorganize as new schools dont want Chicago St in the WAC. The WAC probably thought that Chicago St would declassify honorably, and now they might have to kick them out like the Slummit did.

Since he was a former assistant coach at NDSU, he probably has a relationship in Fargo. That said, UNI seems to really skimp on non revenue sports.

UND dominated the floor in the first game. Just have to stop Dexter and they won't have a scorer. Seales didn't play and Quinton didn't score until late. That won't happen again. UND can win this by 30.

Seattle may be the only American city the NBA would expand to. The NHL would expand to Seattle as soon as a viable arena is built. If an arena is actually built, it's only a matter of time for both leagues.

Why was Holly Johnson held out from the NDSU game?

Wouldn't be surprised if Utah and Washington try to trade away our games, as they could use more FBS games for SOS. Granted, Washington got into the CFP this year, but playing an FCS game is a risk and isnt looked highly upon by the committee unless you are a Bama. The Oregon-NDSU game is probably safe now as Oregon has dropped off the radar.

Both teams had many turnovers in the first half. But I kept switching to the UNI game. The second half UND rained threes, while NDSU continued it's turnover pace.

Bozoville posters were claiming that too when UND men blasted them. No one follows NDSU wbb now, as they have been too embarrassing for years. There was no crowd in Fargo.

Johanneson played hockey in HS. The bizon fans anti-hockey stand didn't sit well.
