His dad played fb at Jamestown college. He has an uncle that played fb for NDSU though.

The game last night was the best I've seen UND play this early in the season. The real problem was that no one could stop Morgan from scoring all his 38 pts in the second half. Realtime RPI lists UND as a favorite in almost all of its upcoming games.
-
Ariz St and UNLV must be chomping on the bit to get in the NCHC, as they will both have near sell outs of NHL rinks when UND comes to town, preferably in the dead of winter, not during the football season.

Larry Scott of the PAC12 says it is likely that the PAC12 goes to 16 schools at it next TV contract. It previously wanted some Texahoma schools, so a big realignment is possible.

The WAC wants to bring back FBS and it can still make FBS invites. The upper Big Sky should move to the WAC and the rest of the Big Sky should invite the football-less WAC schools. Everyone is happy. Idaho wouldn't be dropping if the Montanas, EWU, and UND went FBS with them.

NDSU always does everything first class according to their fans.

To think Hooker had one FG late and two FT late, and the Bizon still got blown out. With the women playing this weekend and the men again next Friday in the Betty, this is the year for UND to sweep the AC in spectator aports.
-
MArk Emmert has now gone on record that he's in favor the the FBS playoffs being expanded to eight. That would mean much more money for all FBS teams and possibly a G5 representative. This year, WMU is the highest ranked G5.

If upper tier Big Sky schools want to go to the WAC, Engstrom's apparently forced resignation threw a wrench in that. But if UND is going to the MVFC or Slummit, it has been unbelievably quiet among the media types.

North Alabama officially announced a move to DI today as they have accepted an invite to the Atlantic Sun for all sports but football, which will compete in the Big South. Back in 2011, UNA had wanted to OVC invite, but apparently we're rejected. The OVC doesnt need more schools as it is relatively bloated. UNA only has 7500 students and $30 mill in endowments, so it will be one of the smaller public DI's. David Lipscomb U in Nashville will probably be it's travel partner, as the ASUN has lost N Kentucky, E Tennessee St, and Belmont over the previous decade, all of which were once Lipscomb's travel partner. http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2016/12/una_to_make_move_to_division_i.html

So you insist upon a retractable roof?

Well this isn't bizonville.

Denver made another Final Four, this time in men's soccer. The other final four teams are Stanford, North Carolina, and Wake Forest. Guess the investment in lax has paid off doubly with the Soccer FF, as they share facilites.

Last I checked, the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers don't consistently win Super Bowls. Bad plays for us and lucky bounces happen for the other team. That's football. The program has been turned around and it's still getting better. It was a very disappointing loss, but no need to fill a psych ward here as some posters seem to think.

This has turned extremely political. Since when do the Feds work on a Sunday? Trump willike overturn the decision in January, and even more hate will descend on ND from the No DAPL protesters. Maybe it will be -30 then. Should the Corps of Engineers outlaw oil crossings by rail over the Missouri? Tear down the railroad bridges which are a threat to clean water too.

NORTH DAKOTA vs. BC - Saturday Gameday MSG ********
SiouxVolley replied to AZSIOUX's topic in Men's Hockey
Schlossman reported attendance of 11,348. If UND had four times the BC fans, that gives about 9000 UND fans assuming that their wasn't many neutral NY observers. -

So how many green fans were in MSG Tonight? What are the numbers? -
This team is only getting deeper, so special teams should get better. We had surprising freshman contributors this year, and expect more of that next fall. Our recruiting seems to get better every year under Bubba. Only a few plays from an unbeaten season - and those losses key on special teams.
-
Minnesota swept Hawaii 25-17, 25-17, and 25-19. By those comparison scores, UND might beat Hawaii. Volleyball is generally relatively transitive in comparison scores compared to other sports, so UND might have played the Gophers tougher than Hawaii. This team might have won a first round game against a non top 20 program.
-
Special teams lost this game. Need some work on that end, as it was never a strong point this season. Also, couldn't stop the Richmond running game in the 4th qrtr. But a special season as Big Sky champs. Next season should be exceptional with the players returning.
-
Agree. UNI, Wichita St and Creighton are known names in the volleyball world that can avoid the top teams for one or two rounds. We need to beat them in tournament positioning.
-
They looked like a P5 team the second half of the conference season. Need to start the season where they ended it. Vail could replace Moser. Merseli has to start like she ended it, although Minnesota held her to slightly negative hitting.
-
They have to schedule better next year to get respect. If we are rated in the top 50, we wouldn't get a top seed. Next year they have to go unbeaten in the Big Sky and only lose to rated teams.
-
The first set was actually pretty impressive for UND against maybe the best team in the country.
-
Vail is in for blocking.
