I like our chances for a playoff run next season. We have enough good players that as long we're tough to coach against, we should be set.

Really, that was the whole basis of my original comment about what could have been.

And to think this change could have been made last year when Tom Miller asked Bubba if he was planning to make any staff changes.

I think (and hope) Bubba will either lessen his grip, or grip it with a fresh approach.

I wasn’t trying to convey that Bubba (or any coach) doesn’t care about whether they win or lose. But bubba knows which game next season would impact the program and its fans the most by winning.

Yes. While statistically the defense was average to good, perception is that they had a hard time getting off the field. Get off the field, and let the offense go to work in its new scheme.

Also, what are the takeaways from 2018? Sadly, I didn't much to be excited about in the future. Another performance like 2018 and I will have to question Pryor's recruiting ability.

6-5 probably is a playoff record next year. I think we can be even better than that mark. I also think the schedule sets up nicely: 3 games, off, 5 games, off, 3 games, so I wouldn’t try to get a 12th game. 2019 will be a good barometer of where we are at as we head into MVFC.

there was progression throughout the year, I thought. From what I've read on here, Kostich really connects with the players and is a good recruiter. Probably what saved him.
