There are tons of players in the league that are great at drawing penalties....Crosby just happens to be the best player in the league and he is great at drawing penalties. I mean, he learned from the best....Lemieux was one of the best players in the league at drawing penalties during his time.

I understand not too many people like Crosby on this site however you cannot ignore his talent on the ice nor his production every year (on average). I do have Toews as my #2 overall player in the league due to his achievements. Crosby and Toews are by far my two favorite players in no particular order.

Mabe I will come this year. I know someone was getting a skate together last year, hopefully someone decides to get that going again.

Agreed....it seems to me WMU is streaky where they end up winning some games they probably shouldn't and losing games against some bottom feeders. Again, the schedule in the NCHC is so tough it can be mentally draining. There are no cupcakes. Even Miami has one of the better college players in the entire country who can take over a game.

Agreed....they have been playing much better. I'm calling split there too. I have a negative feeling we may split against WMU however. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Not true, the expectations for this team (from my point of view) was not a natty. Just to work hard and learn the college game. The only time I criticize the Sioux is when their compete level is lacking.

Our D core last night looked about as good as a college d core can look. Schmaltz is awesome, ladue may be our best all around defensman and I'm not even exaggerating here. His two way game is so fun to watch. For this team it all starts with them. I also like the balance in our lines, I'm not overly sold on pattyn playing with Luke and Rocco however we are winning so I'll drop it for a bit. We can't let off the gas, we need to play well and close tonight.

No matter which I thread i go to I see these types of comments everywhere...really nothing else but these. Settle down enjoy the moment there's still a lot of work to do without you going out and jinxing us.
