Played with RP all through my youth and into high school. He was the best 12/13/14 year old I ever saw (my bro played against toews in selects). But your comment is correct, toews is on a whole other level. What held RP back was his skating.

I've been away from ND hockey for a bit now however I know one thing....a lot must have changed. There is no way my rough riders wouldn't have dropped a bunch on any Minot squad. We used to pad our stats against those western teams.

Kozek had an NHL shot (equally as good as frattins in my opinion) however that is where it ends. He could score every once in awhile but the guy had no vision whatsoever. He was on good teams though.

I saw him this year....he actually has a decent offensive game and good shot. 38 pts in 43 games is not too shabby considering he has no one to play with.
