Really tough loss after coming back. 4 can’t be so careless with the puck. I’m noticing a trend there with him this year. Our top F’s need way more consistency. Lines need to change or something.

Exactly. The two referenced players definitely should have played another year in the CHL. It’s a case by case basis really, especially guys going to these big blue blood programs.

The point is that neither player had aged out yet, so they could have played CHL and logged way more important minutes and gone to college the following year. 7 minutes a game for a skilled player is a joke. We have had that conversation about ushl since the beginning. But this is all new for the CHL players. A lot of them think they are a little better than they are. College puck is no joke.

Michigan is fairly loaded at D too..Mania not even playing right now. I think they can play together. My worry would be who leaves if DuPont comes in. Next season Verhoeff has to QB the top PP (or at least one of them if DuPont would have the other). We have a couple guys who haven’t even touched the pp yet. They could bolt for reps. On a side note, DuPont fairly human this year. He hasn’t been getting press whatsoever.

He’s kind of like ya. He’ll play college hockey for sure. I’d say he’s even an inch or two shorter than them.

Overly solid weekend. A split is fine against MN. Sucks that we outplayed them for long stretches without much O. PP needs serious work. There was a decent amount of good this weekend too. Team should be fairly solid come March. Verhoeff played his best all around game, today he lived up to the hype.
