Really hoping for a hungry and angry, yes angry, team tonight that takes no prisoners and starts to understand the swagger needed to play 120 minutes a weekend.
I am not going to debate if he was better last year than this year but I will say this. When he is gone from UND his presence will be missed and noticed.
It has certainly been a tough team to watch this year. We all know they can play and beat anyone this year but they can also lose to teams they should beat. No offense to Cornell but they had no business winning that game last night and with a lapse on defense and a goaltender who is just struggling they coughed up the win in about a 6 minute span. The inconsistency, the lack of mental toughness is the hardest part.
It’s really a bummer about Hain, poor kid just can’t escape the injury ninja. I think he has been injured, to the extent of sitting out, each year he has played.
Did anyone see where Hain was injured? I thought at first he was the one crashing into the net but that was Senden. I was too focused on the goal that was let in on that play that I didn’t see Hain get hurt. That series of events really set the tone for the rest of the game.
Not to be a joker or anything but I am generally interested in where he lands. I do wish him the best and appreciated his time here at UND so that is why I am interested in where he lands.
I would be shocked if the Vikings even won one of their last two games. I do feel that Zimmer nor Spielman will be fired. I think Zimmer gets rid of Kubiak and that is good enough for the Wilfs to give him another year.
That is a fair assessment. One player who just makes me scratch my head is 28. Some games he can look like the best player on the ice with his size and quickness and skill and then for some stretches he can just disappear for weeks.
