We need 3 points next week.

Wisconsin is a sh$t show right now.

If UND can hold on to win will they swap with WMU in Pairwise?

So Cornell beats QU and QU leap frogs UMD for 7th in pairwise. Sometimes PW is a head scratcher. I get there are many factors involved in this formula.

Pretty pi$$ poor pp.

Absolutely boneheaded penalty. Jandric May sit for a few shifts after that move.

That was a very very weak holding call. Wow.

I am disappointed that UND womens hockey was canceled and wish they would bring it back. I also supported it and even bought season tickets for the family. It was great, I put my money where my mouth was. However I never understood the vocal people who would complain and get upset that UND got rid of the program but never supported the team by going. The most exciting seasons were obviously when the the Lammy twins played. I had season tickets back when Shantell Rivard coached to the year they decided to fold the program.

No disrespect to the other teams but totally unacceptable Central lost today. What the heck. Congrats to the Fargo teams. Well played.

Some big moves in the pairwise. We were sitting just around the bubble before the weekend and now we are sitting at 6 in the PW. Excellent.

i would hope Dane would be next in line, so to speak, nothing against Karl as a person but hard pass.

Going to be a tough weekend, hope the boys can get some points. We need to get shots on their goalie from everywhere. Hopefully Driscoll has a good weekend and the boys can bury the biscuit.

Hockey players and high end education, let me think about that one!

My condolences to the Gasparini family. Kathy "Tootsie" was my health class teach at Central and I went to school with a couple of her boys. She was a super nice lady and she loved GF and UND. God Speed Tootsie, bless your memory.

I have never been a fan of any game ending over a shootout. I know Team USA has been on the other end of a shootout win but I would much prefer the 5x5 sudden death OT.

I guess that answers the question if Sanderson is playing.

2021-22 University of North Dakota Hockey Season
crb1 replied to Frozen4sioux's topic in Men's Hockey
As someone who has broken his fair share of collarbones, ironically playing hockey and football, this is a painful and slow recovery. Of course depends on the severity of the break but you have to be in a sling for like 8 to 9 weeks and it is just painful to move and sleep etc. However if word is that he was skating just recently that would indicate perhaps just a slight break or hairline break and may not be as painful or slow to recover. At this point, selfishly thinking of course, I just want him to get back to GF and heal up so he can be ready to play again in the next couple weeks. -
2021-22 University of North Dakota Hockey Season
crb1 replied to Frozen4sioux's topic in Men's Hockey
Based off some things I have seen online mostly Schloss and Tim H. Sanderson is probably done for the season. Of course that is just speculation at this point but it is not pointing in the right direction. Really unfortunate if true that his playing career ending at UND like this. Let’s hope he is able to play a few more games here. -
Attendance this year has been anything but stellar. A few factors driving that, I am sure. For some reason come Friday and Saturday that is when the bad weather has really showed up this year. I can’t blame people for not wanting to travel. I suppose having a somewhat inconsistent team drives some of that too. Oh and I suppose CoVID has an impact as well. No need to worry, attendance will come back and we will not be the Marucci of the west.

Anyone know how Famous Daves is coming along? I believe when it was in the Heraldo they said like middle of Feb. however I have gone by it a few times in the last couple weeks and doesn’t appear to be much progress from the outside anyway.

Next man up. Keep it rolling.
