UMass should have won that game and I am not saying that because I despise goldy. They had long stretches of having UMN on their toes. UMass doesn’t mess around in their zone. They get that puck out in a hurry and have good team speed.

Mankato will more than likely win, they seem to have the offense to get ahead of Notre Dame and I don't think Notre Dame is a real offensive team. So I look for Mankato to put like 3 or 4 goals on them and Notre Dame might get a goal or two. 4-1 or 4-2 Mankato.

I like Hain and Senden both. Good players, good guys. Senden probably won’t come back and although I like Hains game a lot. He seems to get injured a lot though and I would hate to take up a spot if that happens again next year.

I do agree with this. IMO Berry has underperformed, and I do feel there is a real issue with recruiting. Rizzo, Morrow and I am sure there are a couple more I am missing but that is worrisome. Berry got a contract extension but he should seriously look inward in his recruiting philosophy as I feel something is not working.

That wasn’t really my point. Sure they can touch it and celebrate but knowing this is a well deserved accomplishment but not the final goal.

And how is that Penne Rosa looking now. Perhaps the boys thought they won their NC when they won Penne Rosa. I like when past teams would not really even touch the regular season trophy because that wasn’t the trophy they wanted.

Judd is streaky, Senden is just not a top 6 and Gaber sometimes tries to do too much. But I wouldn’t say that about them.

I think we need to shake things up with the coaching staff a bit. Perhaps Karl G should go back to goalie coach and maybe try get Herter from Western Michigan to come in. The PP is just horrible and maybe clicked for a couple games but never seemed to get better. I don’t know what to say about recruiting. I know this year was a weird one with all the turnover but the jury is still out on Berry bringing in the talent this program deserves and needs.

1 goal in a regional game. Penalty shot and countless shots going over the net or wide. Absolutely no PP and players MIA and yeah we deserve to lose.
