I don’t know of a team who has benefitted more from the whole WCHA to NCHC to B1G move than Mankato.

UMD up 2-0 on WMU. Scored a PP goal. Something UND couldn’t do.

I’ll tell you right now. UMD will live and die by the play of Fanti. If he has a bad night it could be curtains for UMD.

I thought that was Western as they were buzzing and UMD iced.

That goal by James for Duluth was text book just get the puck on net and good things can happen. That was serious luck there.

Injuries may finally be catching up to us. PP was absolutely abysmal tonight. Had we capitalized on one of those perhaps it’s a different story. Boys can’t be happy with tonight, hope it lights a fire or we will see a quick exit.

Jandric and Gaber were having trouble getting pressed at the blue line on the power play. Both turned it over. Berry needs to settle the boys.

I agree they will get called more that is for sure. They have gotten away with a good number tonight. Pretty surprised actually.
