I thought the same thing but after doing a little research, Mr. Bieniemy has a very sordid past that includes run ins with the law and some other not so savory transgressions. I can see now why teams have passed on him.

UND has just as good a chance of beating anyone in this tournament. Let the chips fall where they may and let the boys play. We will get placed in an unfavorable regional and I am sure we wouldn’t have it any other way. Time to roll. I don’t really care much of the outcome of the NCHC tournament, we are already in the NCAA tourney. Sure it would be nice to be a higher seed but it is what it is and the boys will be ready.

Do we go out to Cornell next year? Boy do we have some payback for them.

Indeed they did. However we also got swept by Cornell and split with many teams.

This team has not been very good at the end of games when the other team pulls their goalie. They have just had trouble getting the puck out of the zone and/or EN goal, which has come back to haunt them. The PK this weekend was subpar and it will really burn us in the post season if we don’t make some adjustments. Let’s hope the boys can get a little healed up and we can get a nice streak going in St. Paul.

That series was way more closer than it should have been. Only 4 goals scored all weekend. Don’t know how I feel about that.

He won’t be playing in the next game either.

That Gardner kid from Warroad looks good too. He has to be the brother of UND womens hockey player Kayla Gardner, he looks just like her. Not sure where he is headed. Needs to add a little more size but kid can play. Update: Sounds like he is headed to Clarkson. Clarkson
