For having zero clue about what you're talking about, you sure seem to have a strong opinion about this. #1 The horizon league was forced out of Little Ceasars arena (and into their current format) because they had terrible attendance. 2# The Summit league draws nearly double the Horizon League mens tournament, and probably more than triple if you include women. #3 The Horizon League, no matter the seeding, hosts the final rounds in IUPUI's HOME ARENA. #4 You say it's a joke that Tulsa didn't play in Tulsa, while at the same time you say you like the Horizon format? If ORU was in that league, not only would they still not be in Tulsa, but they would be in a conference member's home arena rather than a neutral site...

You first said that it was "a joke" that the championship game wasn't in Tulsa, now you vaguely mention "campus games". Are you trying to move the goal posts already? Seems you're now referring to first round games now instead of the championship. Which is it?

Pretty sure a change was made by the NCAA that finally allowed the ACHA teams to play NCAA D1 teams - may have been a result of the Canadian border being closed due to Covid. As such, I think we will see more ACHA/NCAA matchups moving forward, and the programs that that can show they are competitive will be the ones that get more games. In regard to ACHA programs and expansion, a name to keep an eye on is Roosevelt, which is an NAIA school located in downtown Chicago that apparently is moving up to D2 NCAA. They currently have ACHA D1 and D2 teams listed on their official athletics website (U Mary does this as well). Maybe there were changes that he would have made to improve the performance, but since he wasn't DC, such changes weren't made? Look at Freund for example. Our offense was generally pretty bad when he was an assistant coach under Rudolph. Now we know that his philosophy was completely different than his OC. Does he coach like Rudolph? Do we know what the new DC's thoughts are? Given that he was a DB coach, maybe he is sick of seeing the DB's left out on an island and knows what changes to make. Maybe he has differing opinions from the former DC about other aspects of the defense. Guessing you guys don't know one way or the other. Let the guy at least speak first...

Drake would not be part of any new conference put together with FBS intentions. I think this will be more along the lines of Chicago State to the Pioneer and Morehead(football) to the OVC. Maybe add WIU or Youngstown to the OVC as well. If the Summit IS actually going to add football, it could be about that I suppose. Interesting that he says "league" rather than "conference". Also interesting that he singles out an individual school and league, while at the same time it sounds like there may be news about others. Chicago State and Pioneer is my guess.

It's common knowledge that the NHL did 5 NHL feasibility studies, correct? Meke Snee, the Director of College Hockey Inc who helps to arrange these studies, was on a podcast recently. He sated the specific number of NHL feasability sudies that have been conducted since the program started in 2014. That number was 11. Because people are debbie downers when any information in regard to expansion is brought forth, I'm qualifying that by saying they are a long shot, pipe dream, yada yada, etc...
