Yeah his legal stuff is a non issue. The NSIC isn't what it used to be either, however. If UND doesn't have the money to hire a current FCS coach, I think they should think long and hard before firing their coaching staff. I am a bit down on Danny's play calling this year, but if he were promoted to head coach, there's no reason UND couldn't hire someone from the outside as the new OC who could work with Danny to improve the offense even more. Hard to know who is responsible for UND's road struggles without having inside info as to what Danny and Bubba are thinking. Does Danny disagree with anything Bubba is doing for example? Who knows. How much say does Bubba have in respect to play calling and personnel? Freund clearly wasn't on board with Rudolph's philosophy, so, similarly, who's to say he wouldn't make changes if he were promoted to head coach? None of us know those answers.

How many games has this coaching staff lost because they have just settled with below avg kickers?

There has previously been a lot of talk about Bubba and UND going for it on 4th down on our side of the field vs NDSU while winning in the second quarter. There has also been a lot of talk about how UND had the opportunity to hire DeBoer, Washington's current head coach. These situations aren't exactly apples to apples, and Washington was at least out of field goal range, but the two situations are close enough that it's worth mentioning. Similar coaching decision, similar situation, different result. Guessing Washington fans would have been pissed at DeBoer had they not converted and Oregon scored. People would have been praising Bubba had UND converted. Results matter, of course. Given the discussion here lately, I just found this play call somewhat amusing when I saw it...

As a 4 year school wouldn't they also lose access to their 1000+ hs students that count towards their headcount enrollment?

How are UND and NDSU allowing BSC to have 4 year college ambitions? Seems like a problem with the attendance issues in ND and the looming attendance cliff.

Did they say or imply anything of interest? Interesting coincidence that they were all there during the same weekend.

I think the MVFC game of the week games were moved from ESPN3-only to ESPN3 and ESPN+ for this season. Could be wrong.

There was an update for FBS that didn't apply to FCS.

In the FCS, playoff games count towards the 4 as well. May be saving some appearances for playoffs.

Their goal is to start with a club program that will begin play in the 2024-25 season. In 2025-26, TSU will have a "hybrid season" in which it will seek to play a mix of club teams and Division I teams with the belief that TSU will be a full-fledged D-I program by the 2026-27 campaign.

Perhaps the best option is to just roll with the Nodak thing and do it for all sports. Diagonal "nodak" in block print looks dumb though unless its on a hockey jersey, so need to develop a script logo, similar to Pitt (panthers).

I've thought about that recently as well. At least it isn't generic. Pisses me off that people were stupid enough to make the argument that Roughriders was bad because "we can't copy the local high school", and then they go and vote for a bird which it seems like 20+ schools have. At, the time, Flickertails was a non starter, coming from the Sioux name, but I'd take it now. That said, I don't actually mind the current logo, and it pops/stands out in almost every picture where I've seen it included with other logos. It would never look good on the middle of a jersey though (makes for a great secondary, as others have said). Biggest issue I have with the logo is that the design has so much empty space that it causes the stitching to look weird, especially on hats.

Roughriders was by far the best option.
