I will say this: If the Gophers win against Maryland and OSU beats Wisconsin.... the hype machine will go into massive overdrive. They would have a 2 game lead in the West with 4 to go, and during their BYE week would be a de-facto elimination game between Wisconsin and Iowa.

I'll address the bolded part: If that happens (which I doubt), that money needs to go straight into the basketball programs. Hockey can do their own thing, they don't need anymore money. Put the money into build a better basketball program, which would get better returns. Everything else, I can't disagree with.

I will fully admit to be an individual that thinks of the glass half full, perhaps to the point where it borders on ducky and bunny territory on this board. However, my glass runneth empty. How many times has UND had an opportunity, to actually build some momentum in this program over the last 6 years, only to blow it in painful fashion. The Montana game in Year 1, the ISU and Weber games in Year 2, Richmond in Year 3, USD in Year 4, ISU, Idaho, and NAU in year 5, and now ISU in Year 6. Once again, it was right in front of them. All they needed to do was win these two games on the road, and take care of business at home. That's it. Good teams do that consistently. We will always look back to the Richmond playoff game as the height of the Bubba Era.... isn't that sad? A game they should have won by 30, where Brady was running wild. It was right there... and ever since then it has been downhill from there since the double reverse call. I don't want to hear about the weather. Put any good team in that same situation, they overcome. Good teams stick the knife when a team is down, not "kneel the ball because they don't want to go crazy". If this was an one-off, I wouldn't be as upset... but it is not. Winning out is the only thing that can save Bubba. I'd rather take my lumps next year with a new staff. One playoff game in 6 years. Should have been 3 years of playoffs and at least one playoff win by now. Will I keep watching? Yes. Do I want change? Yes. Something needs to change, this program needs to step up and step up now. One win against ISU under Bubba... Hell Muss went 2-0 against them!
