NORTH DAKOTA vs. BEMIDJI STATE - Saturday SENIOR NIGHT
geaux_sioux replied to AZSIOUX's topic in Men's Hockey
With all of that said we need to win another championship yesterday. This year would be nice. Two years from now we should have a nice team that could make a run at it also. This year seems like the year since there is no great team out there like 2011 when we were the great team. This year is a great opportunity to win one with a very good team which we have. Get it done and let the gophers choke. -
I had to creep a bit myself after you posted this and if he gets in the 370's he will absolutely devastate DBs at the line of scrimmage in the run game and in getting off press man. That's pretty scary strength for a very fast wr who's only a freshman.

If Golladay was in the top 5 that means he ran in the 4.5s which would be an incredible increase in speed for him. He must have gotten a lot stronger and more explosive this winter which can make a huge difference. I've heard Hardin was in the low 4.4s nearly a 4.3 which is also impressive and a good improvement. Too bad Robertson didn't run, I was very interested in seeing what he would get. Also nice to see Shaugabay run a 4.50 which is pretty damn good given his physical nature and decent size being over 200 lbs. Credit coach Baukol and his staff for making these guys bugger faster and stronger.

Tony's or his aunts?

It's less about who can't win but more about who's worst at losing. -

How many misses tripping calls were there last night? I swear there was a 20 second sequence with at least 4. -
[He said removing all credibility from his post]

Judging by how he looks physically he's barely into puberty and hasn't had his big growth spurt yet. I have a cousin who was 5' as a soph in high school out in Cali and his senior year he was 6'5" tall. Some people are just extremely late bloomers.

I bet Roth will be quite the player once he grows. He has really good vision and feel and soft hands. He just looks like a middle schooler on the ice and is basically still a boy. He'll hit a growth spurt and that will allow him to be physical and skate faster and stronger.

So since the indoor facility was apart of the spirit campaign does that mean all of the money is there and ready to go?
-
I just never thought of him as an enforcer so much as he was 'no show joe'

I wonder if the new bball arena they built can handle hockey. That'd be a great venue

I loved to hate him and Wooooooog. Miss those guys already. Woog could hardly speak English and Mazzoco couldn't shut up. What a team they were. This new guy is like Hammer with a nice radio voice.

This sounds a lot more complex than flashing two colors. Defiantly potential to be spectacular if the execution is good and most people have a smartphone and the app.
-
Impressively simple way to reach everyone that will go to the game. They should have an iPad in every seat with the app downloaded and make some crazy graphic effects in the intro.(purple)

Ohh oooh Brown, because Rhode Island is the state equalivalent of Pluto. What do I win?
-
That's pretty cool but how are fans supposed to know about it? It'll end up being like 15% of the none students participating if they don't advertise on NPR

We must have different memories of Finley, I remember him being huge and clumsy and playing like he was 6' sometimes instead of 6'8". Massively overrated player who could have been dominant with his size. I'd put Jones in the enforcer list before Finely for sure.

Any hot candidates out there for the new opening?

I thought Marto had really good offensive skill but chose not to use it and instead focus on the defense. He could blow past anyone when he wanted and showed that against BC didn't he in the frozen 4? I haven't seen LaDue play since he was at Central, I'm very excited to see what he can do.

Big deal we dominated them for over a decade last time we played them in 'their sport'. To be scared of them winning once in a while is pretty weak. Bring it on. Imagine them trying to recruit against us and UM and Denver. Fargo has no hockey culture so I'm sure they won't even consider it with how the Force are doing.

Simpson was one of the worst skaters I've ever seen when he was a freshman. He's a really good player now and has developed by leaps and bounds. He's 10 times the skater already and his hands are super smooth. I remember thinking who would fill the scoring gap every year. One year it was VandeVelde Gregiore and Kristo then it was Frattin and Malone stepping up then it was Nelson and Knight now it's Rocco and next year it could be anyone. Remember Knight was pretty average his first year with only 13 points and look at him now. I bet Caggiula Parks and at least one fr have huge impacts next year.

I want to see Oregon Oregon st Washington Washington st Stanford Arizona st Arizona Utah make a PAC 12 hockey conference. And some big 12 schools like Oklahoma Texas and Oklahoma st. Also why not ndsu? That would be hilarious to watch them try and be the next Mankato.
