To lead the big sky in offense we would need to pass the ball more than I'd like. I'd rather be top three in rushing and have good passing numbers but most of all lead the league in possession time and turnover margin. Those two stats win games.

He's probably a really long shot for us to get but I like what it shows in coaching philosophy. They aren't going after little scat backs to run a spread with. They're going after big strong fast power backs so we can get back to pounding the rock. It's defiantly a nice thing to see that the coaches haven't forgotten what it takes to win championships.

This is a great move for him. His style of play is perfect for the kings.

i hope neither of these happen. I'd rather lead the BSC in wins and have WRs with good numbers but would take a 1000 yard rusher over a pair of 1000 WRs. I'll sell both.

How about everyone on here stops vilifying Beck. He got himself into a shity situation with some jackasses and then got railroaded by the media and by people looking to pile on. There is a reason the charges were dropped. If this were a situation where some juiced up bizun football player went on a rampage then the charges would not have been dropped but that wasn't the case. I'm sure ndsu has players on their team with questionable character but Beck isn't one of them.

I disagree. Bradley would've played his way to the bench just like the season before if Hensrickson hadn't beaten him out in camp.

That will all serve to put him on a mission. I had to live away from my fiancé at the time ( now my wife) for two years in college and my grades were almost perfect during that stretch because I had such drive to get everything done and do it well since I had to be away from the love of my life for something so I might as well not make it a waste of time and heartache. Factor in a kid to the equation and its ten fold. I'd expect him to kick some serious ass in school and in football since he's away from his family.

Playing Utah then Washington has to be a very attractive aspect for incoming recruits. Washington is renovating their stadium which is as loud as any stadium in the land pro or college.

There was not a whole lot of talent left from Lennon. Chappell leaving the team was a huge blow as was Stroup talent wise. Same with Bamba and others. It took a while to catch up at WR and we're still looking for some dudes at RB ( maybe Sparks and Shags?) and some CBs for God's sake. At QB we had not a who lot compared to the past and the defense was pretty in athletic with a few exceptions. Mussman didn't inherit a bountiful talent pool like Bohl. He didn't win with his own players until Jensens fr year. Back on topic. Winning the great west in 2011 was a masterful coaching job because offense had almost no talent outside of the young WRs. The talent was in place on offense last year but obviously the defense had holes and tons of injuries. I know there will be a fr qb next year but the defense will be markedly improved and the offense will be more balanced but still potent.
