Ohio st basketball is very popular. Penn st basketball, not so much. Also people in Ohio don't like hockey as much as people in Pennsylvania. I'm sure they'll be good after a few years.

If we play them in five years it wouldn't be an issue but this year or next I'm sure something would go down that would merit an appology by the administration much like the small pox blanket chant from last year.

This was an excellent choice. I think Kotelnicki will bring some serious fire back to the defense. Now they need to find a d line guru to tutor some of the young stud dlinemen we have.

That would be the least of their worries. Students would go off on them and probably bring soap on a rope and shower curtains to the game at a minimum

Anyone know if we're going after Rauhauser at all? Also did anyone see him play yesterday? Seems like a pretty damn good player and those don't come out of the west very often. It'd be a shame to let him slip away.

It's entirely possible that by the time ndsu nutts up and plays Und that the cycle will have oscillated back into Und's favor. Better strike while the irons hot.

I hated the air in there. We practiced there in highschool for indoor season and it was terribly stale and dusty in there. My lungs couldn't take it so my senior year I didn't do any indoor practice or meets and just lifted and did Sports Accel on my own instead.

Maybe because he was spoon fed goals by the two NHL all stars on his line. Oshie is far and away the better player. Duncan sat in his spot and sniped and that's about it.

Don't forget that those old timers would be using the same state of the art gear and training as the new guys. I can't remember who deserves to quoted for his but its about guys playing in different eras 'skills is skills' if you were good you'd still be good a vise versa.

One thing that should be of note is that im sure after the 1990 season NDSU fans probably thought they'd just keep on winning championships and dominating UND. 20 some odd years passed without either....

Kristo is a stud. What he lacks though is consistent clinical finishing.

What are his stats looking like so far?

They did just add on a new gym and some classrooms that can be used for choir and music stuff so maybe they have more class rooms than before. I do know that when I was at central it was defiantly not over crowded and could easily handle a lot more students. Sports wise Red River has the upper hand in coaching and I know some good players have gone to Red River instead of Central because of that.

That is unless more south end kids get some sense like my friends and I did and go to central even though we grew up deep in Red River territory. Since that is unlikely districts need to be modified since the north end of town touches a river and can't grow while the south is exploding. We need those great cross town games that are competitive like they used to be with hockey and basketball especially.

Next year they'll be good in hockey. Who knows about football with the numbers being terrible. Basketball sucks and will for a long long time until they get a new coach. They'll be good in soccer too I guess.

As was seeing red river choke multiple times

Hands down the best venue for the state tourney. Completely packed for any game with a gf team and great atmosphere.

why not do a couple different all quarter century teams?
