  1. Mix Windmer Alchemy and Blue Moon with a squeezed orange slice for the aromatic effect and you've got a delicious beer combo.
  2. #8 woooooo game day in BEAUTIFUL Pocatello? Idaho. Idaho.... the sunshine state..... where the beer flows like wine.
  3. I'm excited to see the new road unis at least. They'll look nice.
  4. They need to destroy ISU to get things back on track. A close game would be as damaging as a loss
  5. If they were suspended for a game that means there was plenty other punishment that was less obvious to outsiders.
  6. What type of locker room stuff is going on?
  7. There isn't the leadership the team needs in the seniors and juniors. That means some younger guys need to get a voice and lead people. Why not have some freshman step up if no one else will? All it takes is the younger guys to make a stand and it could change the culture of the program. It's clear that there are issues. Those won't change unless people step up. If it's freshman stepping up than it shows how weak the upper class man are and how strong the younger classes are. In a way it's encouraging that the young guys aren't accepting losing culture but it's also pathetic that things have gotten to this point.
  8. Time for him to put his money where his mouth is and be a leader then.
  9. My Christmas wish list would be Mackey and Hall
  10. As strong a leg as Zeb had he doesn't need to hit a lower trajectory to make it from 54. If he had a weaker leg I'd agree, it's usual for kickers to hit it lower from that distance but not if they have a huge leg. He's no Blair Walsh but he's also no Robbie Gould in terms of leg strength. Zeb needs to get his kicks up if he wants to get a pro look.
  11. NDSU actually did have a lot of attrition. That pared with a really good class followed by another good one equalled a lot of playing time for young players and a huge senior class this season. And I'm not defending Mussman as everyone seems to think. Just because I'm not talking about blowing up the program and rebuilding from the ashes like everyone else all the time doesn't mean I don't think things need to change. I'm able to look at things without my view being clouded by emotion over three shity losses in a row. Sure I think changes need to be made but there are others things to talk about as well.
  12. Until half way through the season. And UND kinda sucks this year.
  13. I'm really looking forward to seeing this new class with all of the local kids. Much better class than the previous two.
  14. You're vastly under rating the unknowns of recruiting.
  15. It was tipped. Zeb has always had an issue with getting the ball up early.
  16. The reason Joe needs to use more touch is because some throwing windows aren't straight on. He has to be able to spin it over one defender and under the safety on some throws ala Hanson. He's kinda like a young Hendrickson at this point with the rocket arm and trouble with softer touch passes. He'll improve, I just hope it's this week.
  17. Exactly. They had way too much in their plates to succeed. I'm not sure why that was but I hope Schleusner adjusts the offense so the team can succeed.
  18. I'd take a ham sandwich over Bradley. Glad he's gone. Comes didn't appear to be a leader and Demler had medical issues then transferred out. Can't blame that type of attrition in the coaches. I do wish they had brought in a better juco qb to bridge the gap to Mollberg and Bartels but that's just me. Attrition isn't only due to a coach not being good. That's a down right childish explanation based on emotion only. NDSU had massive attrition rates that led to the massive senior class they have this year. Does that mean coach Bohl is an arrogant prick that can't coach? Nope. People leave for different reasons and sometimes it screws a program up for a couple years.
  19. Last game it was to spark the team. The game before was because we were getting blown out so why not give him some reps. The week before was to get the offense going after the wheels fell off for Bartels. It's not like EWU was last year, which was a joke. I'm glad they're gonna stick with one guy. I hope its Joe and I hope he learns to throw something other than fastballs. Freund needs to coach him up.
  20. I want UND football to be the best so obviously I'd compare to ndsu right now.
  21. We're right on pace to win back to back championships in 2015 & 2016 then. And a loss is a loss. They don't have a forth column for blowout losses..... Though maybe we should this year....
  22. Their 3-8 season was their second year after the transition correct?
  23. I'm not sure where I touted Mussman in my posts but if you were able to read that far between the lines that's great. I'm referring to the players coming together and turning things around.
  24. They wanted him fired before they won that Super Bowl. Players were calling him out in the media. It seemed like a dead situation. Then it what appeared to be his do or die season they started 0-2 and everyone thought they would tank. Then they went on a tear and beat the 'best team ever' in the Super Bowl. He did not have equity built up. He was coaching for his job like Mussman now has to do.
  25. There are legitimate similarities if you look at it objectively.
