  1. Has it really been that long since we saw Marcus Hendrickson tear it up last year? He was the #2 guy and got an opportunity and broke records. Just because you didn't win the job in practice doesn't mean you can't ball. Some guys are just gamers. The notion that the #2 guy is #2 because he isn't good enough to be #1 is false. Let's just sit back and enjoy watching them both tear Valpo a new one.
  2. He had lost his passion for the game.
  3. It's hard to find that type of speed. Hardin is fast as hell but he isn't Chappell fast.
  4. Golladay will be on the field for the first few games. Price? Not so much. Advantage us.
  5. Worst case scenario for Mollberg is being a special read option package guys to keep defenses honest. I could see the coaches calling for all runs for a while with him to make teams think he can't pass then blowing the doors off with some deep balls. Both guys will play plenty. Here's to hoping they both stay.
  6. I'm pretty confident that RJ is going to redshirt. I hope Bridges makes his mark as that waterbug in the slot this year. He's a little jitterbug with a big mans strength.
  7. It's different for every player for different reasons. Needing a year of lifting. Making that connection and graduating with your class. School. Est.
  8. Maybe Carr will get his shirt pulled and RJ will use his this season.
  9. Kotelnicki isn't one to put the cart before te horse so if he's excited I'm excited.
  10. Fr weights are pure hell. 6am is not prime weight lifting time.... For me at least.
  11. Have not heard that. He is a big kid and a good athlete which is nice to have at FB. I've also heard that Pecosky has been a beast at FB which gives me pause about Iverson getting his shirt pulled.
  12. http://m.jsonline.com/more/sports/badgers/uw-linebacker-joe-schobert-taking-advantage-of-opportunity-b9972249z1-219071951.html O what could have been.....
  13. Golladay Hardin and Jackson will be all Big Sky along with the QB.
  14. I agree that you can't give up on a guy after a couple bad throws, but you also can't chain yourself to a guy like the coaches did in 2010 with Bradley when he was the worst QB I've ever seen at UND and it took over half a season to pull him out of there. Either way both will play in the first game.
  15. Good. They needed some fresh new coaching blood there. Hopefully he can get some athletes to work with soon. And also, after checking facebook again it says he studied education/coaching at UND not that he's coaching at UND.... good for Central.
  16. No clue. A quick check of his facebook says he's coaching at UND. Maybe he a new grunt assistant?
  17. I was just clarifying more so for other people so they didn't take your observation the wrong way
  18. Schleusner is a very cerebral coach, much like Vigen at NDSU. He's got a ton of passion but doesn't have to yell all the time to make his point.
  19. So you were at practice? Care to share some of what you saw?
  20. I wouldn't hesitate to say it to his face. Glad to see the hockey forum still has its sense of humor. And do you really think I'd be worried about all 5'9 180 lbs of him? Life's to short to not have a sense of humor.
  21. As long as he keeps them on his feet he'll be fine.
