Hell I’d take how it was in the 70’s. Two top ten teams slugging it out every year and trading wins for a decade.

I’m pretty sure we’d be better off adding a roller derby team. People actually attend that event.

How about we jump them early and put a little doubt in their mind? Make them earn it. Make their fans uncomfortable. We have them in a good trap game with that showcase event they have.

They timed 40s at the combine the way we do it one year and the times were so slow that they switched to a hand start and laser finish.

Deluca has slowed down quite a bit from his injuries though. Seems to be missing a step from where he was as a soph and junior. To convert combine times to hand you subtract .1 seconds as a rule of thumb. To full auto like UND does it you add .1 seconds. Anyway, I hope to see us start winning more battles.

The last hog who signed with us over other Dakota schools was Helgren. Overall I haven’t been impressed with the hogs under Bubba so far.

We’ve won some recruiting battles on hogs. Then they didn’t last or had an injury derail their career.

I am not a fan with leveling 100% blame on coaches when a player does something they were not coached to do.
