Having a show would be a good recruiting tool. It’s just one more thing to set us apart. Stupid not to.

I swear to God, if we have another Canadian OL not show up I’m going to never consume maple syrup again

I don’t trust the listed weights. They have been horrible at keeping them current. Hopefully they give an accurate account at the beginning of fall camp. Our prototype at OLB should have been Labat. 6’2” 230lbs. Having fast guys out there is fine but we don’t run a 4-3 so we need guys that are bigger than 220 at LB.

A JUCO DL who was brought in to play OL. Bold strategy. Hopefully he’s an All American RT.
-
Their offense is not archaic at all.
-
They replaced a bunch of assistants.
-
I would expect the NDSU guys to ask the Washington guy about any FCS opponent, not just us, because NDSU plays FCS after all.
-
A screen pass should not be seen as some crazy surprise play.

Why are you guys so insecure? I listen to the Dan Patrick Show a lot of mornings through 1660 in Fargo and the other day I heard the lineup of guests for The Insiders included the radio guy for Washington Husky football. I was like “great I’ll get to hear some good stuff about the huskys and our matchup.” Nope. They didn’t even sniff a mention of that game existing. So petty. 6/7 last titles and still so fucking petty.

Haven’t heard a thing.

Anyone know how many scholarships we have available for this class? So far we have 17 scholarships invested in this class. Gotta think we need a couple more LBs, a couple RBs, another WR and another DB.

Our offense doesn’t really play to any of the players’ strengths from what I’ve seen. Need more back shoulder throws to Wanzek down the sideline. TEs passes and screens to lighten the load on the OL. Seriously can you imagine how easy it is to play LB against us? TE in the game, no passing threat. Santiago in the game, a gap it is.

This never gets old. The golden god of football.

Based on seeing Brad attempt to throw a ball in a scrimmage most football fans would cringe and ask who the other options are. He knew the playbook and could hand it off with the best of them but his throwing is the reason he’s a wr now and should have been after one season. We have great RBs but you also need to keep in mind that the the Big Sky isn’t exactly brimming with stud RBs right now. It’s more of a wr league.

I’ve heard Zimmerman didn’t show it in practice as well. However, after seeing Heidelbaugh throw the ball once live I would never consider playing him at qb. That’s the bigger issue. It was clear as day.
-
He was off the roster before the season was over last year.
-
As long as we can figure out the RT spot. Seems like Nguon will be the guy but really he’s more of a guard.
-
Beating Sam Houston come down to beating them up. They have the skill to beat anyone but they are a soft program. They went full fetal position when NDSU repeated punched them in the face last year.
-
We need to hit a couple of home runs on rbs in this class. There will be a massive hole at that position after this year.

Honestly, 2 and 3 years ago our defense wasn't even that good. We still have yet to yield fewer than 20pts/gm under Bubba. I want to see us get down to around 18/gm. That'll be tough considering we play Washington this year but I think that should be the goal for the rest of the games on the schedule.

There are so many question marks right now that I'd have to flip a coin on alot of the games. If things go our way we could end up 10-1 but that's not very likely. 8-3 with no blowout losses would be a step back in the right direction. I really want to see a win at Sam Houston. That would do wonders for our national perception.

It sure is unique. And fugly. Does my mail come faster because the USPS bird has four legs?
