  1. What's really sad is UND under Kelley could probably manage costs in that building as well as the REA Foundation has.
  2. 0.5% may not seem like much, but to your average 5 year full-time student, a 0.5% tuition increase per year is going to add up to over $500. Nice to knock off a month's payment or 2, depending on debt load.
  3. Wow @ 2%. Legislature authorized 2.5%.
  4. If in 10 years, it's been 8 years, hopefully concussion treatment is improved.
  5. How many nattys they got?
  6. Wasn't he academically ineligible?
  7. Geographic location can be interpreted a lot of different ways. With that said, University of Denver. 7 National Championships, #86 in USNews rankings, located in a large metropolitan area outside the traditional B1G footprint (potential expansion of B1G network to Denver).
  8. Irle won't allow those to be cut.
  9. We offered a QB?! Also has an offer from Cornell. Looking at his twitter picture, I'd guess UND has a decent chance at him. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/3360892/highlights/305358386

  11. Exactly. If a guy who looks like he's running in cement gets a shot.....
  12. I need that hat.
  13. Weekend of November 3-6.
  14. Geographic location can mean a lot of different things. Are they looking for a school in a traditional hockey area, a school in the B1G footprint, or a school in a large tv market outside the B1G footprint that could allow for expansion of B1G viewership?
  15. PAC12 is a top 3, arguably top 2 conference in FB.
  16. In Arizona and most of the rest of the country, they wouldn't be comparable as hockey doesn't even register on the scale compared to PAC12 football. As for the rest, IF the NCHC chooses to expand right now (I'm not so sure it should anymore) it should be with AZ St (contingent on promises for new arena) and Bowling Green.
  17. For the 2014 season, baseball specific donations totaled $9,000. http://www.undsports.com/fls/13500/Athletic%20Dept/BusOps/FY%202014%20NCAA%20AUP.pdf?DB_OEM_ID=13500 - Page 11
  18. UND needs most of these cuts regardless, the budget is a convenient excuse. If we get a second boom, the money will be used to expand on priorities rather than continued support of dead weight.
  19. FCOA was already accounted for in the budget (which also includes increased revenue)..... so yes. Good luck on the increased fee requests to pay for ndsu's FCOA.....
  20. For him, it starts in the cafeteria. I hope he crushes it this year.
  21. The space taken up by the Robertson/Sayre, Strinden, and Corwin/Larimore buildings would make for a very convenient parking lot, though they may not want to have a lot right on University for aesthetic purposes.
  22. http://www.grandforksherald.com/news/education/4016639-und-eyes-buildings-vacate-part-new-master-plan
  23. According to this (page 25), we were at $3.9 million and over 200 scholarships 2 years ago.
  24. Tough to say as it depends on which sports are cut and how UND chooses to fund all its programs. Adding lacrosse, a sport not even sponsored by any high schools in the state, certainly wouldn't save the school any money.
