    Yeah? Notre Dame was never a member of the NCHC, so why would they be mentioned?

    Duluth is part of the University of Minnesota system and is therefore much better funded than the state system schools. Duluth also has a shiny new arena and a banner. CC has great academics and a solid commitment to hockey. They're also a D1 member of Conference USA for women's soccer, FWIW.

    Not that my vote counts for anything, but mark me down as a solid "No." NCHC is doing fine right now, no sense in adding a mediocre regional DII school just for the heck of it.

    Their wings are pretty good too. Nothing compared to the Cay obviously, but competitive with Bdubs IMO.

    Duluth is better than Mankato, it's not debatable. I like sh*tting on the goophers as much as the next guy, but they're almost always going to pull in better recruits than the other 4 and will not remain in their current slump. They also finished higher in the pairwise than MNSU and BSU this year, made it just as far as Mankato last year, and lost in the national championship game the year before.
