Academic side of the university would riot if UND funneled an extra $1 million to athletics to buy out a football coach, and I wouldn't blame them. I agree that Chaves should be fired right along side Bubba for giving the extension to begin with.

It's pretty common, basic even, to throw deep on second and short, but you can't take a sack there. This team, especially the defense, is mentally fragile. It was easily predictable that usd would score after the fumble was ruled incomplete and i believe they did just a couple plays later. Defense thought it was getting off the field and was completely broken that they had to stay out there. They were barely a speed bump to the yotes offense after that until they reached 42.

Looked it up on UND's website, athletics are included in the "student fees" which are $71.43 per credit up to 12 credits. Those are also paying for the new Union, Wellness Center, health services, technology, etc.

It may have changed, but I think it's per credit, up to 12 or 13 credits, and it doesn't matter if you're on campus or online. Or at least that's how it used to be for UND.
