Our DL couldn't get to the QB and the DBs lost almost every jump ball challenge throughout the season. I'm not saying they're incapable, but they were often in a position to make a play that wasn't made this year. Hopefully another offseason of weights and a bad taste in their mouth from the way the season ended is enough, along with some scheme changes, to cut the 3rd and 20+ conversion rate under 15% next year.

Yes, it would be deductible for a business.

What were your thoughts on #3?

Gotta force them to make the 2.

Fwiw, USD was only beating ISUb 7-3 going into the 4th quarter. Finished 14-3.

Although I like the silver helmets, personally I've really liked the recent green helmets, so I hope they don't do away with them completely.

Valley City, Mayville, Minot, and Dickinson are in the constitution as "normal schools" and normal schools were defined as teacher colleges. Teaching requires a 4-year degree, so at least by my interpretation they constitutionally must remain providers of baccalaureate teaching degrees. Now, they have certainly expanded well beyond that mission, resulting in significant duplication across the university system. That can and should be addressed.

I think he started summer 2022. He's much better so far.

Headcount is up. How's FTE?

Crumbl does very well in Bismarck. Their cookies are expensive, so I don't think they really need to sell a LOT to turn a profit. Most of those 70 employees will be part-time kids working a few hours per week.

The current ndsu president, Cook, seems like he might be pretty good. We'll see how he holds up against Fargo. Chapman and Bresciani were both slimeballs.

State approved $82 million for upgrading the science and engineering buildings (basically whatever UND chooses) and has indicated they'll approve around $80 million in 2025 for a new STEM building, assuming the economy doesn't tank. For both those numbers, 70% is state funds and 30% local.

Bismarck and Minot both received quite a bit of state $$ for children's science centers. Guessing Grand Forks is attempting to position itself for similar funding.

I believe the city owns all the land around that farmstead now (and maybe the farmstead itself, too). Danks had the land a bit farther south, but I think he passed, so I'm not sure who currently owns it.

Walsh quad will be green space until they come up with another use for it.

Opinion on them tearing down Walsh. Living in that place was a rite of passage.

Concerns re: locker room issues stemming from money being directed only to certain players?
