Aesthetics and cost. UND's track record with parking ramps is poor at best, as a "self-funding" ramp quickly resulted in every student's parking pass tripling in price. An underground ramp would solve the aesthetics issue anyway.

The way I see it, if someone steals your wallet, you don't get to control how they spend your cash.

No clue. I didn't look at the specific records of those teams, so figured it was best to put a disclaimer in there. Also, a couple of our Hak teams probably wouldn't have made it under the old format. 2014 for sure and possibly 2007.

But the athletic dept has no say in how much money is kept by REA or how it is spent. So you can't blame the AD for doing this upgrade "instead" of funding WIH.
