Although the ndsu game provides a great opportunity to prove himself, a lot depends on the players on the field there, even more than normal IMO. Players will need to remain focused, tune out the crowd, and execute better than ever.

I hope he retains WR duties or takes on TEs instead. I'd like to see a QB coach who isn't also saddled with OC duties.

Hopefully he can call a competent game in addition to being good with recruits. New territory for him and I'm sure there will be stumbles, but hopefully he'll put the players on the roster in a position to succeed.

Skokna, a 5'9" 175# RB, had offers from Brown, Stetson, USD, SDSU, EKU, EIU, & WIU.

In addition to 2 missed FGs, Lamar had 2 weak fumbles in the red zone in the 2nd half. Lots of "gifts" for UNI. Hopefully UC Davis is ready to play next week.

I think they said we're 5-2 against ranked teams and 1-3-1 against unranked. So....

2 Saturdays in a row the team didn't come out ready to play. Hopefully they can salvage this one.

Montana St (7-4 Big Sky) beats Incarnate Word (6-4 Southland) 35-14. Nicholls (8-3 Southland) handling San Diego (9-2 Pioneer) 42-17 mid 3rd quarter. Lamar (7-4 Southland) beating Northern Iowa (6-5 MVFC) 13-6 on the 2nd quarter.

Wofford (8-3 Southern) beats Elon (6-4 CAA) 19-7. Duquesne (8-3 NEC) beats Towson (7-4 CAA) 31-10. SEMO (8-3 OVC) beats Stony Brook (7-4 CAA) 28-14. James Madison (8-3 CAA) beats Delaware (7-4 CAA) 20-6.
