Watford City had an estimated population of 6,500 in 2017. I'd say they could hope for maybe 15-20,000 in 15 years, putting it more in line with present day Dickinson.

Yeah of the 5 I listed, Rauhauser appears to be the best player. Defenseman though, which UND is currently loaded on.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's increased everywhere due to grad transfer rules and improvements in high school weight training. But UND has also had poor depth at certain positions contributing to it.

The committee this year didn't give much/any credit for non-D1 wins. So it'd likely lose money and increase risk of injury to play a non-counter with minimal/no benefit. Home/home would be nice, but maybe they don't have the extra $100k to travel in the 2019 budget.
