I remember that game. Loudest I had heard the dome throughout a full game up to that point. If you want, you can look at Appalachian's attendance of playoff games on thanksgiving weekend, they go from like 27 or 28,000 down to 15,000. Happened to everyone. I was actually planning on going up to Grand Forks to see Notre Dame play but NDSU snuck into those playoffs. Well done on picking the rare losing season in Fargo. I remember my dad telling me after that season that we wouldn't be going to anymore games until Babich was gone. Thankfully he moved on after that season.

This is everything that is wrong with a sect of UND fans. Trying to talk down winning championships. Let me know when UND wins a championship in a sport that the BCS conferences play. Until then, talking down FCS titles just seems ridiculous.

Plenty of young folks too. Are some of them overweight? I'd assume so. Most Americans are. I don't think other than the large number of inside jokes(a lot of them tailgate together) which results in a year round traffic, our posters are any different than other boards.

Honestly, don't know much about hockey, are the Coyotes still broke or owned by the league? They'd be my first move. Seattle, Quebec, or Hartford. I'd be an instant fan of the Nordiques or Whalers coming back.

Difference being, Bisonville's football message board is much more active. The Thundering Herd weren't in the paper for finishing last in the conference point standing. I've seen posting about NDSU promotions here before, mostly for the "Scream Yellow" nonsense.

How much of that is a by-product of playing in a league that emphasizes offense rather than defense? Sidenote: They aren't awful. Nothing to brag about I don't think though. Different leagues, different recruiting philosophies.

Tough to have anyone as pre-season all conference when UND's defense was awful.

Hockey is boring on TV. Can be fun in person from my few experiences. Papa Bear tells me that when our family lived in Forks(too young to remember or was not born) in the late 80's and early 90's that you could walk up before the game and get tickets? Was it just student seats that were hard to come by or did he just happen to always pick games that weren't hard to get tickets for? I feel your pain on the human stampede. They suck. And hurt.

E.) Get the charges dropped because the state of North Dakota loves the Bison.....and then probably take that girlfriend of yours out for a nice seafood dinner....and NEVER call her again.
