    are you upset because other schools beside NDSU think UND is awful? If UND starts putting decent teams on the field maybe they won't hate on you. It doesn't help that you ran away from your bet.

    they are allowed to do that. To the NCAA the Seminoles are no different than the crimson Tide. They hhave permission. I don't know how you haven't picked up on that yet.

    Florida St has the blessing of the tribes. And if they lose that blessing... They have a lot of money. And to the other guys point... You folks and Florida St don't really have much in the way of common opponents. But even if you did... They can use the rational and convenient response of "UND doesn't have the blessing of the tribes. Florida St does." Pick a name

    yep. A few schools probably can play ball with them. Florida St, Notre Dame, etc. Florida St has permission. Utah has permission. San Diego St really has no one to ask I don't think... Someone else can maybe look up if there is any Aztecs left. Notre Dame has a great relationship with Ireland I believe. UND lost and some of you seem determined to sink the ship. I feel bad for those of you who have been reasonable and grown up about it.

    I can't honestly believe there are people willing leave any room for the NCAA to interpret anything. Especially when they have apparently said they'll drop the hammer if anyone complains. Here is what you do know, the other schools who changed their names have not suffered as a result of any fan cheers/apparel. Some of the people here need to answer the question, is trying to big time the NCAA worth hpotentially losing even one playoff game over? If so, write a letter to your football team and tell them you are okay with potentially doing that to them.

    the NCAA wouldn't care as long as a new official name was chosen. You can wear that Fighting Sioux jersey forever and cry and stomp your feet. They will not care.

    If the goal to go FBS includes plans to use associations to get to the 15K minimum, it's probably not the best idea.

    I doubt his family will be letting him out of sight. I'm not opposed to a higher bail but I won't complain about his current deal. His life is toast the way it is.

    i don't find it any extra creepy. IIf he specialized in PEDS then.... Well... Different story. I feel awful for his family... Particularly his children.

    While some folks would certainly pout and cry, I don't think it would ever get as bad as the Fighting Sioux Forever crowd.
