  1. It would take a sugar daddy donation. Probably the biggest athletic donation in SU history to get the university to do it
  2. Put down the manifesto.
  3. I take it you played in the game then? Tough one to stomach listening on the radio. Went to a wrestling tourney in Denver once. Had a similar experience.
  4. Dude in the middle should be very good. We'll see about the outside guys. Probably not too shabby. I'd be a little concerned because once Beck went down the defense didn't look nearly as good. Was that competition level going up or just having trouble without him? No idea. First couple of games should answer that.
  5. Notre Dame and BC play for the Ireland Trophy. Notre Dame and Michigan St play for the Megaphone(no longer annual). Those are two that come to mind real quick.
  6. Yawn. You still complaining about me of all things?
  7. Define competitive. I think a .500 record would be possible doable most seasons.
  8. Those schools have plenty of money. At Kansas and Iowa State, just because they are awful doesn't mean they can't afford it
  9. Honestly I doubt UND would agree to play for the trophy anyway. It's a replica of currency. A pretty cool trophy actually.
  10. I don't care if they play for it, but it gives off a weird vibe if the trophy isn't played for. Should just put it in a museum if it won't be up for grabs.
  11. Zero chance they would care. Sam Houston and SFA I believe play for a 6 or 7 foot tall Indian statue.
  12. Who lost the game?
  13. You are very narrow minded in regards to offense, goodness. Or just angry about something.
  14. Agree with this, and the post about the offense prior. They'll do well.
  15. Georgia Tech - 38 PPG. Including a 49 point performance in the Orange Bowl against Miss St. A team who had plenty of time to prepare. They do just fine moving the ball and scoring. Embarrassing? Right on dude.
  16. Anyone? Nah. You or me would likely still get our teeth kicked in
  17. He wasn't the best in history. They'll do just fine. That line could make Jake Miller look like a D1 player.
  18. A couple of 4th down stops and a couple of fumbles if I recall? I think they'd have beat Illinois state but that's another worthy team. Difference of opinion is okay.
  19. Lol well played
  20. I'll rephrase. Best team at the same scholarship level.
  21. 2 of the top 10 or so receivers in the league come from an underrepresented offensive system. I see no reason it can't be successful, particularly at the FCS level. Just because NDSU abandoned it doesn't mean it's this awful offensive system. Mind telling us who the best team NDSU has played against in the championship years has been?
  22. . Demarius(sp?) Thomas
  23. Ah that's right, they switched to a new offense. Pardon. Georgia Tech doesn't win championships but it is not the offenses fault. They wouldn't win with any offense. And while the service academies aren't competing for championships, they seem to do just fine putting points on the board. They could run any offense, they can't win. Georgia Southern proved at the very least it can be effective at this level of football. They ran up and down the field on NDSU.
  24. I'm not in the know... But I'm guessing Babich was told to leave. But you have a crush on him so you may know more about it. The veer is a fine college offense. Ga Southern - 10th in PPG. Georgia Tech - 12th in PPG. Navy. - 46th in PPG. Air Force. - 51st in PPG. Army sucks. - 91st. 4 teams out of 5 that run the option are in the top half. And two of those... Are service academies. The two non-service academy teams in particular are very effective.
