Thank you for the update. The FCS feed on Saturday was the worst UND production I have ever seen (just an honest observation). Makes sense since the week before the production was great. I have faith you guys will find a fix. Thanks again.

That is flat out BS and you know it! We finally made some plays and you guys were forced to adapt.

I would like to think that other RB's will get carries but for some reason they tend to stick with Miller. I gave Miller a chance over the last couple years but I have to believe there is someone else who can break a tackle. As for defense I noticed Mike Edwards was able to get a push against a very stout SDSU D. The question is will they play to win in the first half by putting in the right guys from the beginning?

I am leaning toward Molberg at this point and I agree that going back and forth between QB's all year long is not what winning teams tend to do, but we were down 28-7 and the momentum was not on our side. I think the coaches made a great decision and Molberg definitely provided the needed spark. The thing is if the coaches did nothing and Bartels continued to struggle, we would be having a much different conversation right now. Taking that into consideration I don't have the knowledge to be able to say who we should start going forward.

We did not play well defensively but I believe there is a big difference from last year: They have a back bone. They have some fight and didn't quit. Last year we were not able to get a stop when we really needed it...we just couldn't do it. Last night they showed that they can get a stop when needed. We really need to shore some things up but we also had three turnovers...that can't happen and it puts the D in a tough spot.

Everyone has basically covered the mistakes and why we weren't able to pull it out so I want to talk about the running game for a minute. Why did Jake Miller play the entire game? Sure he had a couple small bursts early on but really? I really have a hard time believing he is the best RB that we have. He cannot break a tackle for his life. I hoped that since he is a senior that maybe he would begin to find some old man strength but no. Shaugs and Sparks need to be given a chance to prove themselves. They seem to have the ability to break a tackle every now and again. Can someone tell me what the coaches see in Miller? Also, Edwards needs to start on the D line. He made a noticeable difference. Goard stepped up and made some plays too. That was nice to see. I did notice that we were able to get a stop on D when we really needed it. We did not have that ability at all last year. Obviously we have some mistakes that need to be corrected but those who are freaking out about a one TD loss to #6 are acting like drama queens. After seeing App lose to a MEAC team at home, the Montana win over them isn't as impressive as everyone first perceived. If we fix some mistakes like penalties and turnovers it is a very winable game.

The production value was terrible on FCS last night. Midco looked like a high school production.

I am very excited for the game! Unfortunately I have a fantasy football draft at 6 mtn. I am going on a media blackout tomorrow night until I watch the dvr of the game after the draft. Fortunately it is a live draft so technology is forbidden. Phone will even be turned off so nobody sends a revealing text.

I suppose it would depend on how he finishes out the year...

A field goal either way wins it. I am not going to predict a winner but I believe it will be a lot closer game than many predict.

I know the day that we play EWU there is a hockey game that night so i'd imagine that would be a reason as to why the EWU game is not HD. I haven't checked on the others though...

I have family here in Denver as well and they are DU fans. Since we purchased through the Alumni code together, they will be surrounded by UND fans! I am genuinely excited to know they will be razzed all game long!

If I could afford it I would buy like 50 right now, then sell the rest at face value to other UND fans. I have been in conversation with my group in Colorado and those who already plan to travel in from Nodak for that weekend trying to find a work-around because nobody, locals included are interested in buying tickets to other games.
