Word has it that Karl G. is headed for Helinski Finland. Apparently the NHL scouts their league pretty freqently so maybe he will get signed in the NHL some day. Saw Jeff Panzer at the Potato bowl tail gate so apparently he isn't signed by anyone this season.

I think its a place they don't want to go. Just a hunch. It could cause a full retreat by the NCAA.

This just proves that the NCAA is a paper tiger. Talking out of both sides of its mouth. I hope all of these schools fight the NCAA in court.

That is probably very true, that being said I don't think we need to go Division one in other sports just so we can whoop up on the Bison in Football again. It seems like a pipe dream that doesn't have a good ending. I just can't see UND ever getting competative where we could play Division one basketball against the big schools.

I think that all Norsk's should be offended by the Vikings shameful use of the Vikings nick name. They suck.

Good post, championships are won in March and April not in the pre season. I still think UND is going to be a top team, maybe not first, but UND doesn't need to win the league to win the NCAA title.

Lots of wide open spaces to hunt in. Lots of pot holes to shoot ducks in. Lots of wide open fields to shoot pheasants in. Golf courses that don't have a lot of trees in to play golf in. I love wide open spaces.

If I remeber right he was also a pretty good NHL goalies too.

That sounds like a shake down to me. So we are requiring someone to drop a nick name and give classes on racial sensitivity and pick the nick name. I say if we drop the name they have no say in what we are called.

Any time someone comes out and says that they made mutal agreement, the management gave them the opportunity to resign before being fired/terminated. Its a nice play on word but it is what it is.

In talking to the President a few weeks back, Dr. K told me he enjoyed writting that letter to the NCAA and that he was going to enjoy writing another letter fi the appeal didn't work. Actually I was surprised how charged up he is on this issue. I think he is ready to tell the NCAA to stuff it and we will see you in court.
