Time for Drunk Hockey Guy to sober up. In case you missed Zpar's College Career was nothing less than awesome, one of the best in college he final season. The league hacked, hooked, slashed and held Zach Parise to a 115 points in two seasons. If the league had actually inforced the rules Zach may have scored 150 points in two seasons.

Typical east coast pompus snob. All that ever comes out of their mouth is B.C., UNH and BU awesome UND and the WCHA sucks. I am sure he wasn't all that happy about the WCHA Frozen Four Invitational.

Got it. Thanks very much.

When I added NHL Center Ice the other day the woman at Midco Net basically said they weren't too concerned about getting ESPNU as of yet. In fact she didn't even know what it was.

Looks like 4 road games will shown this season on FSSN. Awesome. UAA and Duluth. Also, FSN for the Minnesota Games.
-
I like it, also I like the Calvary too, I think it would be a great name and a thumb in the eyes off all the whinners that want the name changed.

I would suggest that GK go to this site, http://www.UND-fraud.com/ It appears that this crowd may appeal to GK.

I agree with you on that one. Also, to take a quote from Hopper, Chara is a tall drink of water. I wouldn't want to go into the corner with him, he is a monster. I hope the same is said about Finely.

I know it is only one night but from what I saw last night, the rest of the league may not want to play NJ on a regular basis, they flat out skated the crap out of the slower Pens. The new rules if they keep enforcing them are going to favor fast skating teams like Devils, that does not bode well for my Bruins who are in the same conference.
-
Thats a shame. Sounds like Shattuck has very strict rules.
-
Honestly I think Chara is a thug. Well that could be ok too.
-
Honestly I don't consider him a very good journalist or very credible, he is a want a be. He is a big CCHA backer. Whatever. Apparently he missed a few players and didn't see that we were rated number 2 on INCH. Besides, I think people are over looking Travis Zajac, I think he is one of the best in the NCAA.

They forgot to tell you. I heard its three. Too bad Cornell can't play up tempo hockey and and they are too slow to skate with the top teams or play on an olympic sheet of ice. Yesh. Cornell, for rich, snobby smart people; sure are a bunch of whinners. Hum sounds like entitlement hockey to me.

Wait, your right, fly under the radar, I like it. I never thought of it that way. Now I see the logic and the genius in your point. I will now retract my statement and say that Minnesota is the number one team in the nation tied with Wisconsin and Devner and Make B.C. number two. I like UND's chances more and more.

Lol, are you trying to give me a coronary arrest. Notice I stopped short of doing such, it would have made me feel dirty and feel the need to take a shower...

This is an election year and Kent Conrad doesn't want to offend his leftist/elietist base. The leftists/left wing of North Dakota, hence the liberal college professors from the pro name change croud love Conrad. Also the American Indians against the name are big part of his base as well. Conrad is tap dancing. Dorgan doesn't have to he has 4 years left before re-election.

Let me suggest instead of spending money Data Flex for the Sunday's 3:00 pm game, go duck hunting (ducktober) and take your head set and listen to the game on While you are sitting in the Blind.
-
I think that is a scream. Apparently the believe the complaints by Cornell Head coach Schaffer if the regional game held in Minnesota had been somewhere else they would have made it to the frozen four. I think Cornell is highly over rated, they spend the season feasting on weak conference opponents and they always seem to be the darlings of the east coast polls. Give me a break. Apparently Kessel is enough to put Minnesota at Number 1.

I really like that line, I also like the Toews, Stafford Zajac line too. I would like to see Duncan, Porter and Sparky on a line. I think it could be pretty exciting.

I would like to meet some of these people. I suppose they are the ones talking on their cell phone during the drop of the puck too. I personally think the name is change you are going to experience resentment towards Native People. I am not saying this is wrong or right, nor am I in favor of violence to solve our problems, but I believe its going to be a reality. There is goinug to be a lot of anger by some at the people who pressed the most for the name to change. There is not going to be this great feeling of harmony some in the Social Sciences and Humanities departments the seem to think is going to happen. I think Lee Jeanoete is going to be disappointed at the anger that will be directed at him since he has been such an advocate of the change of the Fighting Sioux logo. On the issue of History, I don't think it will affect American history all that much. Since American history is taught in the public schools and covers Native issues extensively. Some might argue about the accuracy of the lessions but that is for another discussions.

Thats because they press doesn't want a pro-name article they want to focus on the negative and keep their pro-change name slant going.
