I got to hockey games because I like hockey.

Feeding their family I suppose you could make the stretch they would sell the stuff that they stole to a pond shop so they could get some money to feed their families. I findi it funny that Know the Facts is aligning himself with criminals and making them victims. Those people that were looting were wronged by society and they are now making it right.

It is the left wing extremists that are fueling this rediculous movement, there is no way around this one. Its the Michael Moore, Cindy Sheehan, Russell Means _______insert leftest extremist. Going back to the people behind this anti logo/mascot issue; all or in not all of them are Leftist extremist... Your right, we aren't saying Kent Konrad, Byron Dorgan are part of this movement, the people in this movement are beyond left of center, they are extremists. I lost any respect I had back in 2001 when the horrible actor, hate monger, felon Russell means came to UND to spew his hate speech.

When UND sues the NCAA for violation of the first ammendment and slander by calling our school hostile it will be between the NCAA and UND. Then GK you will be a spectator on the side lines. If UND is such a racist organization how come so many American Indians go to school here. AH, I am waiting for your answer.

I say heck no, then the Univeristy is caving into a small vocal minority (squeeky wheel gets the grease). Its whats wrong with this country, hand wringing do gooders that want the rest of the country to change to their point of view. These P.C.ers want to have their values stuffed down our throat all for the good of liberalism unchecked.

I would like to see these people get going so we can get closure on this issue.

I think maybe UND should go to the Norsk or Vikings of all the scandinavians that live in the state of ND. It seems appropriate. I know we do have a good number of Norweign students that study at our university.

There is no reason to just give up. I think the NCAA is going to back up once UND sues them in court. I think the NCAA's goose is cooked.

PCM, I have wrote Dorgans offices a few times on another issue, it ussually takes a two to three weeks to get a response back from him, but his office will get back to you, ussually in the form of a written letter.

I think Dagies is right. Jesse is trying to get the NCAA to see his perspective. One thing the p.c. anti name crowd is: manipulative. I wish the NCAA would just get over so we can sue them. By the time the NCAA is done meddling in Universities names/monikers they are going to be broke.

Word has it that Karl G. is headed for Helinski Finland. Apparently the NHL scouts their league pretty freqently so maybe he will get signed in the NHL some day. Saw Jeff Panzer at the Potato bowl tail gate so apparently he isn't signed by anyone this season.
