I don't blame him. Why nobody will ever give him a chance at a MH coaching job (with its bigger salary and national profile) is puzzling. The man obviously can coach and get results.

I am thrilled that the MBB team has had so much success this year, but anyone who says they saw it coming are not being totally honest. This is the first Jones coached team to really fulfill their potential.

I think you are referring to Mark Johnson? Who coached the Badger women's team for awhile? I remember reading comments he made about how different it is to coach men vs. women.

Yes, but it will be interesting to see what happens if they don't make a decision on Idalski on Monday, given that his contract runs out this year. That would suggest they are waiting to see if the program is cut before they decide to bring him back or hire someone else.

If a decision is made on Monday, that would indicate that the program will continue. If it is not, that would suggest that WH is on the chopping block and it just hasn't been announced yet.

Time to end the regular season on a high note.

A lesser goalie might have a save percentage in the mid-80's or worse. He has done enough to keep our heads above water. Barely.

Perhaps. But Cam Johnson made some big saves in the title game last year and in other games when the defense screwed up. Cam just hasn't been able to win people over since he got here.

I think the list of committed kids on this thread should help ease some of the hand-wringing that has been going on regarding the long-term future of the program. We will get back to the Promised Land.

Well, this would make the FB realignment discussions even more interesting. And complicated.

I don't know if the people's attitudes have changed or not. And Burgum isn't exactly best friends with Al Carlson and the other Legislative leaders in Bismarck. Remember, he ran against the Legislature as the "good old boys club".

Back in 1999, there was a measure on the ballot to take the names of the colleges and universities out of the Constitution, presumably to make it easier to shut down campuses. It was voted down big time (80-20 or something like that). That is why the Legislature won't go there; the people have said HELL NO to shutting down campuses.

I can agree with that, provided we are meeting all NCAA and Summit League requirements for number of sports sponsored.
