They haven't won the conference tournament since 2014. That is 3 (going on 4) years. That is my "logic". And I don't think blowing late game leads on a regular basis is "fun to watch". Neither are all the turnovers. They have talent, but they are grossly underachieving right now.

I don't care what he did before this season. Keenum is earning himself a nice contract, either in Minnesota or someplace else. And I wouldn't be too hard on Hundley. The kid got put into a tough situation and I think he did the best he could.

Minot State isn't a rival of ours. UND boosters rooting for NDSU in the FCS playoffs is like Auburn fans rooting for Alabama tonight in the FBS semifinals. To each their own, I guess.

With all due respect, this is one of the problems with our fan base. Do you think for one second that people on Bisonville root for our hockey team to win NCAA titles? I don't think so. They probably root for us to lose every game. So I will return the favor. This habit of our fan base rooting for our rivals (remember all the love for GVSU back in the day?) when they are successful nationally is nauseating and does nothing to help promote UND as the Flagship campus that it is. Agreed. I am sick and tired of this team underachieving. Brewster has talent to work with, but they can't hold leads and lose games they shouldn't lose. You rarely saw one of Roebuck's teams blow big leads late in the game. I think after Jones, Brewster is #2 on the coaching hot seat.

Listening to News and Views on KFGO this morning and Joel Heitkamp thinks that if the Bison don't put the ball on the ground, they'll come home "smiling". Someone needs to tell these people that James Madison is the defending FCS champion and on a 26 game winning streak. Also, this game will not be held in the Not-So Fabulous Fargodome. Unlike their first three playoff opponents, JMU isn't going to lay down for the mighty Bison. If the players are buying into this "show up and win" thinking, it will be a long trip back home next weekend for the FBS wanna-be's.

This is what nepotism does for a team.

Because Mussman ran the program into the ground and the administration didn't provide enough money for decent salaries for the coaches. Also, our transition period was not managed very well, while NDSU had a very successful transition period. When you are starting over from scratch, you aren't going to immediately win recruiting battles against a national power 80 miles away. UND was in this position in 1986 and it took 6 years to make the postseason and 7 years to beat NDSU and win a couple of playoff games. We are now in about the same position as we were in the late 1980's. People who think we should contend for Frisco right now simply do not have a realistic timetable in their heads.

Not me. I think those are perfect locations for those tournaments.

Cripes, even the NHL doesn't manipulate playoff seeding for $$$$$ purposes. And the NHL is an actual professional league! They are professionalizing the World Junior U-20 tournament. What's next, paying the players? SMH

Then the United States had better repeat as Gold medalists or some heads should roll.

Canada is always considered the "favorite". Of course, there is so much young talent in this tournament, it is almost impossible to predict who will win.

My thinking is this: If we aren't committed to putting a top-notch, nationally-contending FCS team on the field, then we are better off without a program. Put our money into MBB and WBB and build teams that the big-time schools do not want to play in March. But I don't think most people on this forum would like that. Either shoot for the stars or get out of the game.
