This is an overreaction. We are 3-1-1 in the first 5 games. And that is in the best college hockey conference in the country. Let's wait until the pod is over to judge where this team is or isn't.

I think they'll use the pod format the NCHC is using. It seems to work pretty well.

There are people who want to amend the Constitution to make flag burning illegal. Don't think a "Patriotic Speech" amendment banning speech critical of the United States cannot happen. That is what I am afraid of with issues like this. As for Berry benching players for kneeling, his job security is in part based on winning hockey games, so I don't see that happening.

This is my point; we don't want bad apples on our team. And I think we do the best we can to keep them off, like the recruit who enjoyed bullying a special needs kid. Also, they have every advantage in the world, but they have EARNED all of this. Nothing was handed to them. You made it sound like they were given everything on a silver platter. Which I do not think is the case.

This is way over the line. A lot of hockey players have working-class backgrounds and their parents sacrificed a lot of things so they could play hockey. Are some of them spoiled? Probably. Are all or even most of them? I don't believe so. Our program has had athletes of good character as long as I have followed it.

I don't agree with this at all. Ausmus has a right to his own opinion. And if he doesn't want to kneel, he doesn't have to. And he shouldn't face persecution for it.

The Fighting Sioux nickname issue was WAY more explosive than this. And if people want to abandon UND over this, then they shouldn't let their keisters hit the door on the way out. I will ALWAYS support UND. Period.
