  1. I just posted the tweet. I didn't comment on it. And I wasn't even the first poster to bring it up. But since you asked the question, losing your coach to an FCS program is a testament to the recent unprecedented success of Bemidji State football. Kind of like NDSU losing coaches to FBS programs. I do think Bolte will end up on the short list, FWIW.
  2. Here is the tweet:
  3. Maybe a donor is funding a new stadium? Just kidding, I know what you are hinting at.
  4. As long as they make the decision before December 9th, I think we'll be okay.
  5. Getting it right is more important than having it done quickly.
  6. Our hockey coach needs to hear that too.
  7. I think we all know we aren't responsible for holding his feet to the fire. We are all just sick and tired of the mediocrity and underachieving.
  8. Another poor season for MBB. What are the odds of having at least 20 losses? I'll call it 50/50.
  9. I was there for Gino's last years. It isn't that bad.......yet.
  10. Chaves has a very poor track record of hiring coaches. That is why people are skeptical.
  11. Hiring within is a great idea! Look how well it has worked for WBB, oh wait.......
  12. This could be a sign or just a coincidence.
  13. I think it will be a head coach of a lower division school (D2, NAIA) in the Central Time zone. The criteria seems to point in that direction.
  14. Let's not bring this out, please:
  15. I always loved that one!
  16. I think he means he plans on working at UND until his retirement.
  17. It isn't working.
  18. Rob Bollinger
  19. I have always thought that too.
  20. What don't you understand about that?
  21. Or Bemidji's Brent Bolte.
  22. But FCS has more athleticism.
  23. There is too much athleticism on defense to run that offense anymore.
  24. Based on the criteria, I think it will be a current Division II coach in the Central Time Zone.
  25. Following up a legend is always hard.
