I agree with you. But it is worth pointing out that the schools you listed all currently have extensive natty droughts. So we aren't the only school struggling to finish off seasons.

While I won't give up on a team before the season starts, his points aren't entirely without merit. This upcoming season is critical for the coaching staff and the program.

Why? Did they sign a lifetime contract? Teams change conferences all the time. This would be no exception.
