  1. HUGE road sweep. First place!! Let’s go!!!!
  2. "Attack at the SHAC"
  3. That is a good idea and certainly an option to save some cash. Becomes an issue if it is an 11 am game and tailgate starts at 6am!!
  4. I think there are still hotels available, but they are pricy. We are doing an AirBNB that is near campus that ends up being a lot cheaper.
  5. Well, at least the Canadians won't be medaling either. Takes the sting of the loss away a liittle bit.
  6. We are still in prime position to win another Peña Rosa!!
  7. 3-0 lead. Well….let’s see what happens!!
  8. Russia needed to be banned for at least two Olympics (Summer and Winter).
  9. Summit League conference tournament has been madness lately. The 4 seed has won the tournament 3 of the past 5 years. In 2017, the 7 seed won a game. In 2019, the 8 seed won a game. And we all remember 2020 with UND making its run to the title game as the 6 seed. Just make the tournament and see what happens. They don't call it March Madness for nothing!
  10. Agreed. Being at home will be a great boost. NDSU has looked very beatable. Could have easily lost their last 3 games.
  11. 2 Weeks to go in the season, and the team has one goal. Make the Summit League Tournament. St Thomas is not eligible this year and they are only having 8 teams, which means one team (in addition to St Thomas) Last nights win was one step closer. Current conference standings for the 7-9 seeds (excluding the Tommies): 7. Denver 5-9 8. Omaha 3-11 9. UND 2-11 It really will come down to us and Omaha. Omaha has 4 games left (#1 SDSU, #7 Denver, #6 W Illinois, #9 St Thomas) UND has 5 games left (#6 W. Illinois, #4 KC, #2 Oral Roberts, #9 St Thomas, #3 NDSU) We may have an extra game, but the path to the 8 seed is much tougher for UND than Omaha. Need to play the best basketball when it counts, which is now. 8 seeds have won in the Summit League tournament. In March, anything can happen. At the very least, I want our team to at the very least win the games we are supposed to (St Thomas) and be competitive in the rest of them. And of course it would be great to knock off the Bison the last game of the year and maybe prevent them from getting the 2 seed!!
  12. Bunning and Mussman. played a huge role in getting us behind the rest of the Dakota schools. RT deciding not to go D1 when JAcks and the Bison went also gets some blame as well.
  13. If you guys didn't go to the "Broken Broom Lounge" that was held in the Olympic arena during the World Curling Championships in 2008, you missed out. Curlers know how to party. I can confirm this being a curler myself. Curling clubs are basically bars with curling sheets attached. Hell, you can drink a beer while on the ice while you play!! It's encouraged!!
  14. The Vikings never offered Harbaugh the job. Who knows if he was their #1 guy. Rumor had it he wanted a Gruden type deal. Wilf's probably turned off by that. Or maybe Kwesi decided that he wasn't the guy to take the Vikings into the new style of play in the NFL. The NFL has maybe moved on from coaching styles of Harbaugh, Zimmer, and a lot of other guys. Glad they are going with a young coach that can take this team to the new way the NFL is moving towards. O'Connell isn't a guarantee to be successful, but I am definitely glad they went with him over Harbaugh.
  15. He was just letting everyone know where he would be staying before the Nebraska game this fall.
  16. There have been a few upgrade to the Betty since it was built. Video screens is the biggest that comes to mind. But that was only because they were hand me downs from the Ralph. Would be nice for the basketball/volleyball locker rooms to get a makeover. Especially since the hockey program has had 2 upgrades since it was built and the last one was 3 million dollars.
  17. Best part of listening to the game in the radio is hearing the guys try to figure out the OT rules !
  18. I’m going with Sanderson with the game winner in regulation!!
  19. Huskies used up all their goals last weekend I guess!!
  20. 2022 Olympic Winter Games | U.S. Men's Roster https://teamusa.usahockey.com/2022olympicmenroster NOTE "All 25 players on the U.S. roster have played college hockey in the U.S., including 15 currently playing in the NCAA" Hmm, a bunch of college kids playing for team USA in the Olympics? Tring to remember how that worked out last time they did that?!!
  21. Jacks clearly the better team. I mean, their trophy is much heavier.
