Whenever Bison fans gave me crap about rushing the floor in 2012 at the Ralph after beating them, I just tell them it was a rehearsal for when we punch our ticket to the Big Dance at the BIG SKY Tournament in Grand Forks!!!

That was the problem....we had to many local guys from EGF, Fargo, Jamestown, etc. Where did that get us?!!

Sales of new merchandise obviously hinge on selecting a name and logo that looks good and people like. Given that happens, I think that you will see plenty of people wearing the new merchandise. It may take a few years, but people will soon realize that we need to support UND athletics no matter what they are called.

I could see one opening on Gateway Dr. next to the new Walmart. Potentially lots of Canadian traffic there and they would drffinitely be drawn to it.

Let's all just be happy we had a secondary logo. Otherwise we would be using the "North Dakota" block letters as a logo. So we have a similar logo. That's ok for now. We will have a new logo soon enough. Then we can avoid all confustion!!

If Molberg is clearly "the guy" ink him in as the starter for Valpo and SDSU. Having him know that he is going to start both games and be the starter for the season will give him the confidence and mindset to be prepared for those games. If after 2 weeks he struggles, then give Bartels the ball. But picking the starter this week into the Valpo game is the right move IMO.

Remember it like it was yesterday. Still the best game I ever have attended as a Sioux fan!! Celebrating at midfield with all the players and fans is something I will never forget!! Hoping to be able to celebrate like that in Frisco some day soon!!

Im my opinion, if you see UND's logo which is green, black and white and think it is Notre Dame...you do not know your college logos very well. Notre Dame's interlocking ND is either gold or blue. Rarely is it ever green. To be honest...I don't think I have eve had someone walk up to me while wearing a UND shirt with the ND logo thionking it was Notre Dame. I think the people who get them confused are in the minority,

I inquired about those via twitter when they showed the signs at UND day at the ND State fair. @NorthDakotaAthletics replied back and told me they will "announce how I I an get one in the near future." I would think since we are 2 weeks from the first game, we would be seeing those very soon!

Just got my reserved tailgate spots for the first time this year. Super excited. Talking to Alex Kroke (the guy in charge of assigning tailgate spots) he said that he is going down his list of callbacks of people requesting spots, and he is pretty confident that all the reserved tailgate spots will be sold out. Mentioned that they may even open up more areas for reserved tailgating! This is great news UND football. Hopefully an indication of what attendance will be this year!

Agreed. All 3 of those trophies need to be on display. Maybe a better location for them would be at the new HPC. That way the players can see them everyday and it is on campus. Gives current players glimse of the history of the tradition that is UND football.

So...the Nickel Trophy. I think it should be on display at the Alerus in the front entrance along with the National Championship trophy....like they do at the Ralph. Most people haven't seen either trophies. Those need to be out there for football fans to see and appreciate.

If you want to discuss FCS not being the highest level of competition for college football, start your own thread and discuss it there.
