  1. Can anyone fill it out? Do you have the link to the form?
  2. Dave Hakstol playoff record: - WCHA/NCHC playoffs: 36-14, 4 Championships - NCAA playoffs: 17-11, 7 Frozen Fours, 0 Championships Brad Berry Playoff Record - NCHC playoffs: 17 - 9, 1 Championship* (All games at REA) - NCAA playoffs: 5-4, 1 Championship Hakstol in 11 years never missed the NCAA tournament. One and done only 2 years. Berry in 10 years (this year included) has missed the tournament 3 times (potentially 4 this year) and has 4 first round exits. 4 of his 5 NCAA tournament wins came in the 2016 Championship year. Since 2016, he has had 1 playoff win. Berry couldn't hold Hakstols jockstrap when he was a baby!! Absolutely unacceptable results compared to his processor. I miss the good old days when we bitched about losing in the Frozen Four. How I long for those days again!!
  3. Just makes the win next year against the Bison even sweeter!
  4. Play of the game was the Lance catch on 3rd down when the Cats had all the momentum getting it to a 3 point game. The Miller long run was huge too. But that’s what these games come down to sometimes. A handful of plays by either team.
  5. We will get that information right after we get the finalists for the logo!!
  6. Yeah that's the one thing that is likely preventing it from being him. Why out under "Minimum requirements" 8 years of college football coaching experience knowing that Fruechte only has 7. Ideal situation would be hiring a HC that is going to keep Fruechte on as the OC. Plyers really seem to like him and keeps a familiar face in the locker room among coaches.
  7. I am really thinking its going to be Fruechte. And that would be a bad thing. Still gives us a coach that wasn't a former player or coach (I mean technically he coached a year, but he just got here. Still an outsider). Also, likes saves the exodus of players hitting the portal. Plus, the current players seem to like him. If its someone else, that will be fine. But I think Fruechte is the front runner.
  8. Losing no recruits is huge. Now the next hurdle is to not lose an significant guys to the Portal.
  9. Wonder how this will affect the candidate pool. Obviously nothing official, but would some candidates hold out and interview for the MT St. job?
  10. Nashville bidding for the FCS title game to be played at Vanderbilt’s soon to be newly renovated stadium. https://www.tennessean.com/story/sports/columnist/mike-organ/2024/12/03/nashville-fcs-national-championship-vanderbilt-2025-frisco-texas/76658801007/
  11. I want UND to hire a coach that is so damn successful here that we have to hire another coach in 5 years because the coach we hire no is moving on to being a HC at an FBS school!!
  12. And people wonder why UND football takes a backseat to hockey in coverage. Pretty big news for this program and here we are........nothing. Not even in the backseat anymore. In the back bench of the station wagon facing backwards!!
  13. Anyone have a link to the press conference?
  14. "Minimum 8 seasons of full-time collegiate coaching experience" This rules out Fruechte. He's only at 7.
  15. Alright, someone take the 8 candidates from Millers list (and maybe a few not mentioned) and see who fits the requirements listed. Go!!!
  16. Naming Fruechte the interim is to make sure the 2025 recruits have some sort of stability on Wednesday when early signing starts. The application deadline is Friday just before midnight. Interesting timing. Curious to when they will name the head coach. Do they do it before the Transfer Portal opens Monday the 9th, or after. I guess we wait and see.
  17. My choice.
  18. I want a coach with zero ties to UND or North Dakota. I want someone who knows how to recruit, who knows how to motivate and inspire young athletes, but most importantly someone who knows how to WIN!! Need to stop bringing coaches in who "know the culture" at UND. Well you know what, that culture has been underachieving for far too long. This program, its fans, and the payers and future commits deserve better. The next football coach hire may be the most important coaching hire in school history. Make a good one, and it changes the trajectory of this program back to WINNING. Winning games consistently against the other Dakota schools. Winning on the road. Winning Conference Championships. Winning in the playoffs. Winning National Championships. That is what this program desperately needs. Sooner rather than later. (Is that too much to ask? )
  19. Dodged a bullet nitnhiring Deboer. Bama getting rolled!!
  20. FIRE BUBBA!!!! I don’t care what the buyout is. He’s gotta be gone.
  21. Walking and chewing gum and the same time is possible here.
  22. Bubba has 3 years left on his contract. What’s the buyout? I don’t even care how much it is. Have to do it. Bubba has been here over a decade and has 1 playoff win. Unacceptable. Chaves needs to sit him down at the end of the season and give him a chance to resign. If he doesn’t you have to let him go. Don’t let him get away with firing the DC. There has been one common factor throughout these 11 years. And that is Bubba. Time to move on.
