4-1 so far this year!

We rushed for 174 yards against an undefeated, currently #10 ranked, FBS team. No reason why we can run for at minimum 200 yards against the Penguins. I expect we our full stable of backs, as well as a QB, TE, and WR (who knows), getting some yards on the ground this weekend.

None. They look like cheap practice jerseys. Forget NIL, would be nice to be able to purchase authentic replicas of football jerseys like you have been able to to for hockey jerseys for well over 20 years!!

I am perfectly fine with Romfo being the starter this year and next year as long as the team is still playing well under him. Nothing wrong with learning the system for a couple years then starting his Junior year. If he beats out Romfo next year, so be it. He will get his time. It will be worth the wait.

I totally agree. Romfo has benefited from a soft schedule and those games were all at home. Now credit him for the Montana game, that was a great win. USD and SDSU will show if he is "the guy" moving forward. If he plays poorly against both those teams, you have to give Jerry a chance in the last game. Need to see what we have for him. Would be a shame to see him transfer without really seeing what he can do on a full weeks prep of being a starter.

History tells me that we win out next 3 games and lose the next 3 after that. Hope I am proved wrong and we can knock off at least one of the Sodak schools at home. 8-4 is the low bar set now for the rest of the year. Anything short of that would be a major disappointment.

No reason why the Betty can’t make upgrades and look like this some day.

Where is Seidl?

I get there are those that wish we would stick with one jersey combo and maybe deviate from it once or twice a year. But I am liking the mystery factor in not knowing what the look will be that week and waiting with anticipation to see what the jersey combo will be!! Fans love it and more importantly the players love it. So keep doing it!

Would love to see the grey pants, green jersey, and the grey helmet with the strip on it with the smaller hawks logo. That would be a sweet look.

This is one of the best jersey combos we have had. The stripe on the middle of the helmet to match the pants is great.

The NCAA needs to regulate NIL immediately. This is getting way out of hand. Went from "Hey I should get a percentage of money for my picture on a billboard or a jersey with my number on it" to "How many millions will you give me to be the starting QB there. I'll let you know what others schools offer" The NCAA regulates even the smallest little things of what a student athlete can and cannot do, but they can't do anything about NIL. Pathetic.

How do you know Trey and his dad are wondering that? Trey got beat out of the starting job. He chose to leave the program. Not sure how that is the coaches fault. I doubt Kevin is going to tell is players not to pursue UND. That would be pretty petty. Kevin wants what is best for his players and I am sure would love to see them succeed by playing college football. Especially at the D1 level.

You guys remember when we held our own against Iowa St, beat #4 Montana, and scored 52 points against Idaho St.? Those were the good ole days. I get there is always things to be working on and be critical of, but man....sit back and appreciate what this team has done so far this season.

Onside kick, muffed punt, dropped INT, 4th and long prayer while being hit. One of those goes ETSU’s way and the Bison lose. But every break went to the Bison.

Bison are a worse road team than we are!!

I want to see Jerry out there as much as the next guy. But everyone needs to chill out. He is still only in his second year with the program. He will have his time. In the meantime, let’s be happy Simon is getting much needed reps before conference play begins. When he is playing in front of 19000 plus fans in the Fargodome in 3 weeks, it will prove to be worth it.

Let’s not forget this is his 3rd game as a starter. Coaches love his arm and accuracy. We may not have seen it yet, but it will come. The underneath passing and running will open up the deep routes. Just need to hit on them.
