So while I agree with the idea that traditions can’t be forced, that doesn’t mean you can’t try something and it might work. In Ames Saturday, I got to experience the “Juicy Wiggle” song and choreographed dance by the Cyclone faithful. They started this in 2018 and Have done it pretty consistently at football and basketball ever since. They play it after a big moment in the game or to get the fans going. It was amazing. We will learn more about this team by watching how they play against Montana than how they played against Iowa St.

I am excited to see what Romfo will do on Saturday. Not sure when we had a starting QB with his athletic ability in running and passing the ball. O line is going to be the biggest question mark this year. Simon being able to scramble out of trouble takes a little less pressure off of them, but they will still need to do their job. Need to play this game like we did in Lincoln 2 years ago. Keep it close to the 4th quarter and give us a chance. Looking forward to being in Ames tomorrow for the start of another football season!!

Heading to the game Saturday with my son and my die hard, Cyclone loving, ISU alum cousin! Anyone know if the Alum associating or any former players have secured a tailgate spot? Not sure if anything will compare to the unofficial UND tailgate in Lincoln!! Looking forward to seeing a lot of green in the tailgate lot and stadium!

Q is a great example of what it means to be a team player. Not sure if they named the captains yet, but I would think he would be one of them. Excited we have one more year of him on this team!!

Season tailgate spots are $100 per spot this year. That's just less that $15 per game this year. I think they mandate you have to get 2 spots. If they don't, they should.

If you are using your spots to just park, you aren't tailgating. There is a waiting list for reserved tailgate spaces. If you don't tailgate in your spot, release them back so someone ese can use them appropriately.
