Been waiting to hear what those guys had to say. I guess when you can’t rip on our team, you resort to bad mouthing the stadium, town, etc. Don’t tell me they don’t think we are their rival. They didn’t react like this after USD and don’t react like this after a loss to the Jacks. Love to see the meltdown!!

Hard to find a whole lot wrong with how we played last Saturday. But, if I had to pick something that we definitely need to improve on is allowing big pass plays when we get the QB scrambling out of the pocket. Millers biggest pass plays were when we had him on the run. Now, likely our linebackers moved up to prevent him from scrambling for big yardage, but is still a key to limit those big plays. I think Day is more of a pocket passer than Miller, but we can't let Day beat us with completions to wide receivers down filed.

I know that they have never worn them in the past, but what about a silver helmet for the hockey team similar to what the football team wore this past weekend against NDSU? Stripe and interlocking ND logo and everything. Would look great with the business suits!!

They might burn down the Fargodome if they lose this weekend!!

This is where Tommy's short screen passes come into play. Basically, works like a run play. And Tommy, Bo, Red, Isiah, etc. are very good at executing this. I expect to see a lot of that on Saturday.

I think the most likely way we meet them in the playoffs is if we are a seeded team and they are not, or vice versa. If both end up playing Thanksgiving weekend, they can't play each other, and one of them is pretty much guaranteed to go to Brookings in the 2nd round.

I’ve listened to more Bison podcasts and radio shows this past week leading up to and following the game than i ever had before. It’s been fun. The post game discussion with these hosts, former players, coaches, etc all seems to be saying the same thing. That the Bison beat themselves. That something is wrong with their offense, defense, special teams, etc. that the reason they lost and by so bad is because of something they did, or didn’t do. Maybe, just maybe UND out played, out worked, and just wanted it more than NDSU. Maybe UND is a far better team than NDSU this year. Maybe this is less about how the Bison failed to execute on the field and more about how UND is just a better team than them and proved it in the field by absolutely dominating them at every aspect of the game for every quarter of the game. Give credit where credit is due.

So there was the "Mooney Game" in 1993 when und broke the streak. I know some people were trying to come up with something to call this game. I know Ziebarth had a unreal game. But, I think if you wanted to, you could make a case for calling in the "Skokna Game." 3 TD's which entailed a receiving TD, and rushing TD, and a kickoff TD to start the game. That kickoff return TD will be talked about for decades!!!

This is exactly what I was going for. Awesome mock up!! I still think we should save the "interlocking ND" logo for the Bison games. Put the green hawk logo that they used to have on the helmets on the grey helmet, then we have a legit home jersey.

In honor of the score from the Bison game, i have a new name and logo change suggestion.

They have the grey pants. But looking at them in relation to the grey helmets, the pants look a little darker.

Imagine the story we can all tell when someone asks "Hey, when did UND start wearing the grey helmets?" And the answer will be "Yeah, that was in 2023 when UND destroyed NDSU and The Bison slipped into mediocracy and UND started winning MVFC and National Championships!!

Keep it simple. Ohio State has pulled off the grey helmet, grey pants for decades. Switch red to green and you have a really sharp looking jersey.

Agreed. I was hoping for the throwback green like the one Lennon was wearing. But, the grey with the black looked pretty good. I would love to see the grey helmet, black jersey, grey pants look. Would also love to see them throw on the old green Hawks logo on the grey helmet.
