So no offense to Bennet Brien, but his logo for the Fighting Hawks was definitely a swing and a miss!!

Can someone convince these students that you can tailgate before the game? Any more often than not, if you wander up to a tailgating group and tell them you are students that are here just checking it all out, they will hook you up with some free food and beverages!! I never understood why tailgating has dropped off so drastically. Whether you are undefeated or haven't won a game, the tailgating will always be the same. Drinking a beer, eating some wings, burgers, brats, whatever while playing bag toss or throwing the football around is a good time no matter how you look at it.

You can't really have it both ways. You can't take away student seats and move the student section and expect more students to show up. Doing that would discourage them from showing up. I don't think that UND students realize how lucky they are to haev seats as good as they do. Look at the Fargodome. Student section is from the 20 yd line to the end zone and then behind one of the end zones. UND studenst have prime seats. Need to take advantage of that.

I've seen it!! It's a hawk with accents of green white and black colors in the logo. Looks pretty sweet!! Was that too vague, or did you want a better description?

So last year Cam and Luke (Johnson) had C. Johnson and L. Johnson on the back of their jersey. Wonder what they are going to do next year with Cam and Casey?!! Can't put Ca. Johnson. I realize this is a very low priority compared to other 2016-2017 season story lines. But hey, it's mid June and there is no hockey being played right now. Gotta talk about something!!!!

I would love to see the NHL in Kansas City. They already have an arena there, and it would even things out perfectly division wise by playing in the Central. Would be a great new rivalry, especially for the Blues!!

They will be in the Pacific. Makes the most sense. Now just need to add a team to the Central to even everything up. But that doesn't mean that a new expansion team will be in the Central Division footprint. If Quebec City gets a team back, they could send the Red Wings back to the West and even things out by puting them in the Central. Will be interesting to see when team #32 is added to the NHL. Will probably be sooner than we think.

It's 2016. When the new logo comes out...EVERYONE that is associated with UND one way or the other will know what the new logo is pretty quick. You are not disenfranchising the students by releasing it when the majority of them are on break. Release it on 6/30, begin the marketing process for the 2016/2017 school year, and get merchandise ordered so it is here when the students check into the dorms and when the ball is kicked at the football home opener.

I do think that the students will eventually come back to supporting this program better than they currently are. I like your 1st idea, but I propose this slight tweek to it. Keep the student section reserved for students until 30 minutes before kickoff. After that, it becomes general admission. No need to have people sit in the endzone when there are seats 20 roes up at the 50 yard line that are available!! If the students won't sit there, give someone else that actually is there to support the program the ability to sit in better seats.

I disagree with a lot of what he is predicting as well. It's not like everyone that posts here is 100% agreeing with him. But the fact that you two Bison trolls come on this thread and reply to every post from SiouxVolley is a little bit crazy. I mean, how many times do you have to post that you disagree with him!! We all know how you feel. But if you want to post on a fan site about a school you don't cheer for, abot a conference your teams don't even play in, about a topic that you think is rediculous, about a person that you disagree with all the time....you have every right to do so. Seems a little ridiculous!!

Who is going to start the petition to get Melrose replaced by Starman?!! Would be nice to have a commentator that has actually watched more than 5 minutes of highlights of the college hockey season call the biggest games of the year!!
