I guess this is where my biggest question is raised... way too good of players to perform like this. I don't understand why, many don't, so naturally you look at the common denominator. Disclaimer: Still a Berry guy, I just don't get what's going on but it feels like it can't continue. Ultra Disclaimer: Not a facedouche group moron apologist either.

This is the key to how things matriculate and everybody saves face and offers all parties an "excuse" for portal losses, saves the university money, takes Chaves off the hook, keeps the culture intact, it's just got to be the way. NOBODY (except 1 guy's bank account) wins by finishing out next season if players leave, commits de commit, and players don't commit to a coach on the final year of a deal after turbulent times.......season goes worse than this year. Everybody's image is tarnished. Leaves a coach basically calling it a coaching career .. but probably still making good coin as a scout or consulting. Hockey protects hockey after all. The midwestern nice thing is to let everyone save face and bow out graciously.... but all that speculation doesn't matter after a historic frozen faceoff win and a drive to the frozen 4.

Does anybody know ballpark or more precise just what the bottom-line number is for UND if hosting a 2-game playoff?

Congrats to these outstanding Young Ladies and any of those on here who helped them along the way.

No. TeamND teams that were formed last summer and played together all fall are now meeting for a practice weekend together and then going to play Sioux Falls Power programs the next weekend. It still seems tough to beat the Power teams that have played together all year, but it does happen, almost every year some team beats them in a best of 3 series and moves on to Nationals, a few years ago I believe TeamND swept 14/15/16. Team ND doesn't contest the 18u level as those kids DO have a tryout process that starts this weekend in WF, for an April CCM NIT tourney in the cities. That team practices a few times and has had some good success in short order in that tourney.

Really? I've never heard that before to be honest. In fact I was told ademently to NOT use that logo on a non BAA media piece.

I've been told by people "in the know" the past weekend.... they for sure know he's going to be in the BCHL.... and another said Ontario Junior Hockey League... and another said Force... But Major Junior was the most commonly spouted prognosis. Conclusion: Not a clue gotta see I guess, he could land almost anywhere next weekend, including WF.

Sorry to offend your feelings about it. But your feelings aren't facts. Not every year is as down talent wise as this year. Talent compared to what?... The same league year vs year. How is this tough to understand? Being honest isn't bashing. More honesty with parents would be better, gotta stop pumping tires help them understand that standing of a shallow depth pool doesn't mean they are poised to leave.

Lot of people calling him out for being nothing but a suckholer , and he is a massive suckhole specialist but it's kinda unfair to label him as only that, he's pretty damn good at finding the puck in the zone too and has scored a ton by being in the right spot. He finds the ice that's going to be open and for better or worse thrives in a system where everyone's job is to get him the puck. Not sure how that translates to improving any of their players for the future without him, or beyond, or frankly how it will himself at the next level, but in the shallow wading pool of talent that ND high school hockey is; It sure as hell works. But he is a very talented stick handler, skater, and scorer with great hockey sense. But if they bring back the two-line pass rule..... gunna be a tough go.
